Donald Trump beating Rand Paul among young voters

MP

I hate to say I told you so again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again.
The utter, mind-boggling incompetence of GOP strategerist and Paul senior adviser Doug Stafford is now undeniable…

Trump is an anti hero like wrecking ball. Some of this recent Trump trend is Rand's fault, but not all. Trump generates free publicity by simply being Trump.

I cannot remember the exact chopped and screwed video that made me dislike Mofo Politics, but I am pretty certain TaftFan is who promoted it.

You guys had some good stuff, real hit or miss quality. Then it was just miss. And miss. And try. Then miss.

What happened?

Of course, it must be all Doug Stafford's fault that the mainstream media is mentioning Donald Trump's name 24/7--do you really doubt that he is being mentioned on the air by someone right this very minute?--and Rand Paul Must Not Be Named.

It couldn't be that Murdoch and Ailes took one look at his voting record, his filibusters, and his habit of exposing RINOs by giving them the opportunity to vote on actual conservative bills and amendments and watching them run away, and decided that giving him coverage was detrimental to their game plan of keeping Republicans out of the White House. Couldn't have anything to do with it.

Rand Paul tucks Mitch McConnell to bed at night. That's one of the primary reasons why his campaign is mired in limbo. Secondly, Trump exploded because the Mainstream Media gatekeepers went ballistic when he made his Mexican comments and erroneously thought that the Donald would acquiesce like most political figures do when pressed. The rest is history from that point on. Trump shrewdly used the duplicitous media to augment his campaign.

Its a marathon, not a spring. Trump is positioning himself in a way to blow out in the republican primaries and then get blown out in the general. Me? I back a candidate who takes the long view of the race.

McConnell and Paul seldom agree. One look at their voting records is enough to expose the inherent bullshit in the statement that they are in bed together. McConnell is trying to straddle the fence between establishment Republicanism and the new wave of real conservatism. And Paul is trying to use the fact that they are from the same state to pressure--or induce--the Senate Majority Leader to introduce one or two of his bills to the Senate floor.

And the media do not give additional coverage to those who refuse to acquiesce to them, as we have seen proven over and over and over and over for the last thirty years and more. To say otherwise is to deny four decades of obvious history. He's getting cameras pointed at him because he's part and parcel of a deep game. How can you call the media 'duplicitous' and not see that? Anyone who can actually beat their game they do not give a chance to.

Finally, will you answer this one question for me? Is Donald Trump 'electable'? Can he beat Clinton, Sanders, Webb or O'Malley in the general election? Can he? Let's find out just where the seat of your misapprehensions lie. Tell us the truth. Do you really think this clown stands a snowball's chance in hell in November of 2016?

Yes, it's possible if he's willing to run an irreverent and unconventional campaign. Have you heard him of late? He is openly talking about how he bought politicians in the past. Do you think Hillary can withstand an indictment like that on national TV? Do you think anyone in either party wants to have an honest conversation how the 'political process' works? That would be a political death sentence.

Dude, when was the last time you talked to an unaffiliated voter?

Got news. They ain't generally stupid enough to fix the problem of rich people buying politicians by putting the richest, stupidest, most arrogant bully they can find directly into office and saving him money because then he doesn't have to buy himself.

You may ask yourself why most of the Republicans who are too smart to do something that stupid have left the party and are now unaffiliated voters. You may ask. I probably won't tell you, though, because if I told you what they thought of the likes of you and being associated with the likes of you it would probably violate forum guidelines.

I talk to plenty. They are sick of the games. They want to be talked to like serious peers as opposed to children. No one has any patience for Hillary or Jeb's Hallmark Card propaganda. At least, Trump has the cajones to openly admit that he is a flawed wheeler and dealer & that the entire political spectrum is one titanic joke.

The media loves Trump because:

A) He makes good news.
B) He's going to be easy for Hillary to beat
C) He makes Republicans look bad.

I wonder who the GOP establishment would support if it came down to a race between Rand and Trump in the end? That would be interesting.
