MNGOP Convention Results!

"on-site war-room"

Every state convention should have a "on-site war-room". And they all should have great printers.
Actually we called it the "anti-war room" ;) :p :D

And yeah, we have laser printers, and a whole bunch of goodies. Ask me about it in person some time

And the cherry on top: we got "end the Fed" added to the MN GOP platform :)

I can see Michelle up there now, as she loses....

"but Anderson. Anderson! ANDERSON!!!"

AC360: Michelle sit down and shut the hell up!

Here is what one person posted on Facebook about it:

Regarding the Thirteenth Tribute, I suspect Bachmann is cringing and desperately wishing Don hadn't been so gracious. It was clearly an act of mercy. The knife was at the throat, our spoils littered on the ground behind us, yet we committed the most atrocious act of a wise victor: pity. Knowing she didn't have the votes, she is sentenced to sit among the victors at the RNC. She is forced to eat the crumb we threw her from the floor. This was not for her. This was for us and for Ron Paul.

I'd say the number is probably 33 or 34 delegates out of 40. Minnesota has 8 congressional districts. Each one elects 3 delegates at their respective district conventions. The state convention elects 13 delegates to serve at-large. There are 3 additional automatic delegates who serve based on their positions: the RNC national committeeman and RNC national committeewoman (both elected last spring) and the state party chair (elected last December). The RNC committeewoman would probably vote for Paul, and the committeeman and chair could possibly be talked into it because they know that the liberty crowd in Minnesota calls the shots now so they have to be nice to us. Both the committeeman and the chair made statements at the convention essentially telling the non-Paul people that their time was up.

This was added to the Idaho GOP platform 4 or 2 years ago... I cant quite remember.

"D. Sound currency
1. We recognize the failure of the Federal Reserve System to maintain a sound
U.S. dollar and the danger of mercantile banks controlling the issuance of
our currency. We believe the Federal Reserve Bank should be abolished
and the issuing power restored to the people with the stipulation that the
U.S. dollar be backed by gold and silver. We believe Idahoans need to
protect their savings from the ravages of inflation, which is hidden taxation,
and encourage citizens to participate in a systematic acquisition of precious
metals which represent real value as opposed to paper currencies. "

Didn't you all get the email? The campaign ended last week. Jesse Benton sucks and should be fired. Ron Paul was got to by the CIA. Ron Paul doesn't want us doing anything anymore. The sky is falling and it's raining toadies.
