How can a busy amusement park on the Fourth of July not be patrolled? How can they have time to beat him that severely in a place that must be one of the most crowded spots in town on a holiday? The fallacy of this police state they're trying to create is that it does nothing to keep one safe and secure. Just as Dubya didn't lift a finger to keep us safe from 'terrists' during his first year in office.

Don't want armed citizens and/or vigilantes competing with your cops? Make sure your cops are effective!

I read in one article that the park had over 20 security guards on hand that night. It doesn't take long for 8 young men to seriously injure a middle aged man, especially when they jump him from behind.

Give them the benefit of justice under our system, but make the law and judiciary system run smoothly. Our prisons are overflowing because these scum are just loaded in there and given a slap on the wrist. I imagine their race has a little to do with it. The Politically Correct Gods of politics want to give everyone from a poor or black background endless opportunities for "rehabilitation." No matter how monstrous they are.

I don't care what kind of people these guys are. I don't care about their race, religion, or socio-economic origins (though it seems others certainly do, and not in the interests of civilized society). Anyone committing these acts should be locked up, with the key thrown away, and that's in the best case.
