Mitt's lawyers are trying to remove our Massachusetts delegates!

@Politics... I doubt there is a federal law that can stop someone from running with "just cause". They likely can only be stopped if ineligible or cannot get on any ballot.

worried that he will not have enough delegates; or stupid in trying to push Ron into a 3rd party run. if Paul delegates walk out in Tampa then Obama wins easily

OR Romney cheats and gets old-time GOP that are scared-to-death-of-change to bend some rules or make up new ones. That gives Romney the nomination.

Romney figures he can fix it later if he sucks up to Ron Paul supporters with some kind words. Maybe he lets Ron Paul give a speech in Tampa and the GOP will try to ensure Ron Paul supporters vote for Romney by making it seem like letting Ron Paul give a speech is a huge concession and a win for Ron Paul.

He isn't worried about Ron Paul voters now, just being the nominee. He figures after he accomplishes that he can make nice with Ron Paul and his supporters. He'll say something good about them. He'll throw a hint that he might throw a bone to Rand. He'll maybe let Dr. Paul give a speech and make it seem like he made a big concession and sacrifice.

No matter how bad or obvious the behavior, I won't be surprised. And the media will fall in line and cover up everything.

Why can't Paul certify them? He's as much a qualifying candidate as Romney is.

But being nice means being fair.

If he does that he might not win impressively enough to hold off threats--he knows most of the GOP wishes the earth would swallow him up so they could start over.

I think he's ruthlessly going after what he wants the way he always has. And that he figures he'll find a way to clean up & minimize the damage (mad Ron Paul supporters) later. That is why he pays big bucks to public relations people and his lawyers.
