Mitt Romney supporters don't know why they're supporting him

You got no responses cause it is a virtually dead forum compared to this one. Give it a few months and you might get a reply. :)

um, ...like, ...he's a businessman and thats what we need to turn around the economy....and he has great hair and he's like 6'2"

Just TRY to find a case where Ron Paul has flip-flopped.
I don't know if it's reflected in his voting record, but RP has flipped on his death penalty stance.

He knows how the economy works. He has a monopoly on this information. He's the only one who knows. It's because he's worked in the private sector. He only reminds us of that 20 times per debate. Apparently, Mitt Romney is the only person who has ever worked in the private sector, and because of that experience, he is the only person who knows how the economy works. Duh...

Yes ,he has changed his opinion on that ,the right way,the one toward states rights, after observing the many mistakes in the dna testing, the disproportionate and unjust way it was used and other factors.. :
No FEDERAL crimes death penalty.

He is not particularly trying to completely abolish death penalty in Texas for example,as far as my understanding goes.

No really WHY ,for God's sake why does anybody and even more so a conservative supports a self-declared progressive who was also,in fact, the single most progressive governor in the history of the United States of America?

Why?

And most of all:
Do they REALLY support him?
Or do they just say so in answer to the polls because they don't want to sound too ignorant and "Romney" is the only name they heard in tv?
