Missouri Primary

Even though the primary doesn't count there are two measures on the ballot that Paul supporters should vote yes on.

1. Disabled veterans of war are exempt from property tax on their homestead.

2. Repeal any city earnings tax and phase the existing ones out within 10 years.

Those questions are not on today's primary ballot. The only question on the ballot is your preference of presidential candidate.

In fact, the two questions you mention were already voted on in 2010. They are not current issues.

You are correct I looked at the wrong ballot link on the Missouri elections website.

Just got back from my polling place which is Precinct 17 at Northland Cathedral, Clay County. There were about 15 cars in the parking lot to which 90% of them belonged to people working the event. I walked in with a smile on my face and thanked them for working the precinct. One guy seemed to be like wtf another young person asking for a Republican ballot. Ron Paul was listed as the last person on the ballot. The only signs outside are for Ron Paul. The vote count on the machine taking the ballot changed from 33 to 34. Since my precinct seemed the bussiest it looks like a very low turn out this year.

Well, howdy, neighbor! That's my polling place too. My ballot was #20 in the machine for Platte 01 (Nashua) this morning. :)

Just got back from voting for Paul with my fiance.. Now calling everyone that I've been preaching to for the last 10 months to go do the same.. I'm challenging myself to get 50 people who otherwise wouldn't even caucus to caucus for Ron Paul and I'm challenging you guys to do the same.

I'm assuming that the people here confused enough to vote for Rick Santorum or Mitt Romney will be too confused to figure out that the caucus is what really matters.. We can win here, organization is key.

If you went or are going to your precinct for this primary please please! please! bring/create a make shift sign (Does grassroots do it any other way) or someway to signal other Ron Paul supporters to come up and talk to you as they come out of the doors (You must be 25ft from the doors by law) in Greene County we have "Vote Ron Paul?, Stop Here".

If you have time before you leave, try and inform atleast 2 or more Ron Paul voters as they come out that the real vote counts on our Caucus this year on March 17th. You will be very surprised about how many people are unaware of this who came with the full intentions to support Dr. Paul and think it is done. Some are younger and this is their first election cycle or aren't full followers of Missouri politics.

If they seem very active and want to help, please push RootsforPaul.com... We are building a statewide calling database to effectively GOTV this year aswell as educate on the Missouri caucus system and it is crucial we have a good base of committed caucus goers.

If you did, plan, or doing this then THANK YOU!!!

I've been in close contact with about 15 Paul supporters (about half I converted myself and I'll be bringing ALL of them to the caucus) and I've contacted them all today to make sure they go vote in Springfield, MO. My Girlfriend already voted and got 6 others to go with her this morning. She said the poll workers were saying turnout was small so far. I can't wait to go vote after work!! Everyone keep up the good work.

My Democrat boss promised to go vote for Ron Paul today. :)

I don't care if today's results don't mean anything in terms of delegates. I don't even care (much) if Ron doesn't win it. I just DO NOT WANT this to be the first state that Rick Sanctimonium wins. I don't think I could live here anymore if that happens.

Yes we discussed at our distribution and orientation meetup that our demographic will probably be the after work 4-7 crowd. I'm leaving work right now to go stand at the Willard precinct which is 7th in supervoters for Greene County until they close passing out caucus reminder cards and talking to anyone who wants to get involved...

Jeffersonian are you perhaps in the Meetup group for "Greene County MO for Ron Paul 2012" already?

On our ballots, Ron Paul was listed all the way at the bottom... for no good reason other than to piss me off!

dang, you Missourians are giving me a little bit of hope for Ron out-performing the polls in your primary today! Keep the updates coming! :)

3 votes here, just got my parents to come along in St Charles. Nobody else in the building except for us and the workers and they were telling us that turnout has been very light.

Never trust a promise to vote, always drag them there.
