I have heard nothing from the campaign or from this forum on Missouri... Any word on Missouri?

Missouri is hard at work preparing to turn out caucus-goers. Our strategy is being implemented even as I type this post. We will win plenty of delegates here.

The caucus is important, the primary isn't binding and Santorum may win it because Gingrich isn't in it and Santorum has been campaigning there. But we want as many delegates as we can get. It isn't as favorable to Ron as some other regions but hopefully we will get the delegates Suzu is discussing.

True and Ricky has had the gall to lie to people in his speeches tonight, saying, "We could do well and even beat Mitt in Missouri because Newt's not on the ballot so the head to head match up helps us." Asshole. He knows Paul is on the ballot.

Yeah lots of religious zealots here but also lots of folks who understand what Liberty means and are fed up to their eyeballs with federal interference. I wouldn't be surprised if Frothy does well here in the primary, but it doesn't mean a thing if he does.

I was just out there this morning before work at one of the precincts in Greene county. Talked to atleast 3 Paul supporters who were unaware of the caucus date/time and importance which I informed them on. Talked to 1 who already knew. Converted 1 former Herman Cain to Ron Paul after 15 mins of discussion and truck talk. Was called stupid by one not so nice lady.

MO is not going to deliver Ron a victory, and I think we'd be really lucky to not come in last.

Good Luck tonight. Thank you for your efforts.

The campaign needs to send out an email to ID voters. Amazing three people were not aware of the voting tonight. How many more are not aware?

Someone needs to fire off an email reminder like now.

i believe he was referring to the caucus which is in March. Our primary is purely for show. Essentially it is a straw poll.

While I agree with the logic of "perception = reality", on the flip side the primary is non-binding so while it would be nice, from a marketing perspective, to do well there, it's not worth concentrating resources there when there are two actual binding caucus days in other states on the same day.

We need to win.. get out and vote.. I voted this morning and I was the ONLY ONE there... I'm tired of losing to that asshat Frothy. If we treated this like an internet poll we'd win and the MSM could eat mudpies.

Should I wear my Ron Paul Revolution T-Shirt or do they frown on that? :p

If it was the only primary today I could see some focus on it. But it's essentially a straw poll and both CO and MN are also today and award delegates. I don't think it should be completely overlooked, but I think our focus should be elsewhere.

Just voted for Ron Paul in Clay County, MO. :)

Extremely light turnout at my polling place. The ONLY candidate who had any signs and any volunteers standing outside was Dr. Paul. I thanked the man and woman who were out there for Ron this morning, shook their hands and signed up on their list of definite RP voters to contact later with caucus info.

It may not matter in the long run but I sure feel better for having voted for Liberty today.

Primary

Even though the primary doesn't count there are two measures on the ballot that Paul supporters should vote yes on.

1. Disabled veterans of war are exempt from property tax on their homestead.

2. Repeal any city earnings tax and phase the existing ones out within 10 years.
