In the style of our NH Ad blitz (this) I think we should run a GOTV ad blitz on Facebook for Minnesota. Basically, it would be a final push to both remind Ron Paul supporters to caucus tonight, but also reach some random friendlies (anti-establishment, disenfranchised dems, etc). If money permits, we can also target Santorum, Mitt, and Newt voters with negative ads - maybe plant a seed of doubt before the caucuses.
The guy who ran this for Iowa and NH (Christopher David) has apparently been busy and has been off the RPF radar as of recent. If someone is super excited to run this, step up. If not, I am willing to step up and do this for Minnesota, as I think we really have a good shot there. (It is a "register at the caucus" event and we are surely within striking distance.) I have a little chunk of money to get this started, but I will setup a chipin if people are interested. If a moderator or a more veteran member wants to run this instead, I am willing to fall in line and help out to whatever degree is logical.
We should aim to have ads running by the morning, so let's at least start brainstorming here to assess the most logical demographics and keywords to hit with specific messaging. Also, we might need to make some custom landing pages, depending on the ads.
Look to our IA and NH Ad Blitzes for inspiration: IOWA, NEW HAMPSHIRE
Let me know what you all think so we can start to gauge the interest in this project.
