The attack came from never trumpers. First to say I do support him and think this is a blow to our side. Our side being w.e I think is my side to which I signed up Milo.

I have a lot of thoughts on this. A lot of news coming out every day. Neoconservatives are on counter attack. Count left out they don't exist. The battles between different factions right now are so chaotic it's going to take sometime for that to settle out. After that it will take some more time to reform ranks and to see what we got after the fighting.

So I would say late summer. All of us have to live in the mean time.

I tend to believe you're right. It's either all or at least mostly a shtick. For a couple reasons, actually: First, to be as 'in your face' as possible, and second, I suspect he's more palatable to certain types of people as an over-the-top parody/stereotype of homosexuality.

There have been many discussions on RPF on the appropriate age of consent with the conclusion that a specific legal age is a poor representation of a very complex idea.

It is interesting to note, I think this is the first time he is backtracking in a major way, actually posting a Facebook apology, yuck. I think the apology letter was a good thing, he needed to clarify his statements. They intertwined his joking about being molested by a Priest with discussion about the definition of pedophilia with older/younger homosexual relationships. The way they made it sound was that he thought it was ok for a 40 year old gay guy to have a relationship with a 13 year old boy, and that is not the opinion that he holds. Part of it is the broad usage of "boy", just like "girl" has pretty broad usage. The show "Girls" was about girls in their mid 20s.
