Millionaires Go Missing

Hurray for Maryland! (O'Malley is terrible)

Maybe those 1,000 missing millionaires went to Galt's Gulch? :D

Probably just crossed over to Virginia, though.

I can't believe how stupid some states are. If were a governor, I would convince the state politicians that we need to completely eliminate the income tax, the corporate income tax, the sales tax, and even property taxes. I would have financed my entire government through the sale of bonds, which Obama and Bernanke seem hellbent on backing with Federal Government money. You could literally run your government off TARP funds and stimulus bills. At that point, you would create an influx of wealth from neighboring states looking to flee tax hungry governments. When all the chips fall where they may, you're state is poised to break out when the real economic recovery happens. The key is, to get all the capital into your territory before and during the crash so you can run out of the gates much faster 10 years later. In short, why the hell would you raise taxes on your tax base when you can get the rest of the country to fund your operations for free?

awwwwww hell, O'Malley has no dignity. He steals money from both the middle and upper class. And now the millionaires are gone, can't leach from them so what's next? Oh god, O'Malley is retard.

obviously those millionaires simply moved. not as if anything of substance has happened in the financial markets that could have wiped out certain individuals.

when you have a year by year chart per state, let me know.

Right on! Seems like more hate-mongering by the media against the wealthy.

Some people have lost 30- 40% of their net worth in the last year or so- that alone would reduce the number of millionares.

Plan Backfires Like Wile E. Coyote's Rockets

I'm glad I no longer live in Maryland. But I must say, O'Malley got owned! Take that, you socialist bastards of progressive madness! Let that be a lesson to all who would try to "soak the rich" that your taxes will be borne by those whom you seek to protect anyway. Maybe the revolution will be matured from situations like this!
