[h=3]'Militia' groups fear infiltration by feds at Bundy Ranch[/h]BUNKERVILLE, Nev. -- Militia groups are still surrounding the Bundy ranch days after the BLM ended its roundup of cattle. There is concern among some of them that they have been infiltrated by undercover federal agents.

One man, among the self-described militia, says at least two federal agents went undercover to gather information and are preparing to make arrests. This latest information is causing increased tensions among those who say their goal is to protect rancher Cliven Bundy. Around 50 people remain at the ranch, many living in tents, and are prepared to stay for weeks, even months. The men say they took an oath to protect, but they are worried there is a rat in the ranks

"When you pledge your life and your fortune, you're prepared to give it up," said Bobby Bridgewater, an Oath Keeper.

An atmosphere of uncertainty now surrounds the Bundy ranch. The so-called security guards aren't sure, but they believe it's possible federal agents are among them, posing as militia.

"You don't know until you actually catch somebody," Bridgewater said. "It is always something that we're always thinking about."

The Bundy supporters gathered in Bunkerville to protect the Bundy family. Cliven Bundy has allowed his cattle to graze illegally for 20 years on public lands. The feds began rounding up the cattle about three weeks ago, but stopped after some armed supporters interfered. Those supporters took Bundy's cattle back from a federal holding pen. The militia continue to guard Bundy and the nearby hills 24 hours a day.

Former Bundy guard Frank Lindysthe says it is all very troubling.

"They are now calling for militia. They're not in dug in positions, they are sitting on top of ridges. They don't have night vision capability," he said.

Lindysthe left the ranch in the middle of the night after at least two men tried joining the guard. He said the men made him uncomfortable.

"The people that are up there, they have a certain look about them. These are military. My belief is federal agents," he said.

Lindysthe feels the alleged federal agents are there to gather information on militia members and eventually conduct a raid.

"They're dirty. They're dirty," he said.

But, despite that belief, most of the militia show no signs of leaving and many say they're ready to die fighting.

They don't have night vision capability...

Infiltration is a tool that's been used since time immemorial. It's pretty much a given that they're being infiltrated. Hopefully they're closing ranks around trusted associates (other members they've known for years), and are on a "need to know" only basis with unknown militia members.

No doubt. There is no way to control or vet the militia staying there. Even if there aren't any moles this rumor will tear up the ranks.

First the made up quotes, and now suspicions of infiltration. Quite the 1-2 punch isn't it? Make em question who they're protecting, and those around them at the same time. Fucking bastards.

wishin' or hopin'...?

i trust militia members are smart enough to dodge this BS...

They should just spread the rumor that they have a friend in the BLM too! Have the BLM spend their resources doing the same.

The Patriot community, and the militia guys (especially the lone wolf types) are a ready made audience for PSYOPS. I like to refer to rumors like thins as the POTD (Panic of the Day). Members of this community will trip over themselves to post anything that anybody anywhere posts on the NET.

There already are doing it:) it was also stated that a lot of BLM's use the N word quite frequently!

Anyone who doesn't KNOW that the Feds have infiltrated is a fool.

Keep your friends close,, and your enemies closer.

The Hutaree fiasco was an eye opener for many when the Michigan Militia actively worked with Feds to Frame another Militia.

And that is not forgotten.

In my opinion, the bigger problem is their strategic position. Once the BLM backed off, the militia chose to stay and secure the property indefinitely and that put them at a disadvantage. All the government has to do is wait. Lack of logistical support, dissention, rumors, fatigue, uncertainty about the mission, etc. will wear down the militia and they will be defeated by attrition. They have set themselves up for ultimate loss. They should make a strategic withdrawal. (stated from the comfort of my armchair)

You are not so far off. A victory was achieved, and it is not being exploited by camping out in the desert.

The BLM had better hope that things do not move to a covert operations phase, where all kinds of awkward things happen to BLM vehicles and offices.

They won't even have to wait....they will just do an end run around the militia. While the militia is camped out in the desert, the bureaucrats will be seizing Bundy's bank accounts, cutting off power, etc, and making it impossible for him to sell any cattle or otherwise make a living.

The thing is, the BLM is just a tool in the hands of politicians like Harry Reid. If your fine furniture is being beaten upon by a ball-peen hammer, do you attack the hammer, or do you attack the hand that moves the hammer so that it cannot next grab a sledge?

It is a subtle message - if the tyrants refuses to learn, then warning had been given. If a pawn is lost in the course of the game, that loss can be overlooked. If one of the major players disappears, that is more difficult to overlook.

Not all militia is in that desert..

Not all militia fears the Fed.

And Many Militia have been infiltrated,, and they know that.

Probably. So if you are the militia, you trumpet your victory and leave. Then pick another battle you can win.

Sounds right; 'disperse on high alert' with a planned watch handoff would have made a lot more sense. All of them together could likely chip in to support a rotating 26 or so man watch, then the mass go home and keep a finger on reports from the watch. Most of the country can get there in a day if they need to. The far East Coast a little longer.

It's like they are still playing 2GW when the rest of us are on 4GW. If they don't acquire more discerning guidance then there will be trouble for the Patriots.

But do we really know what their strategies are? How do we know that some of them are not applying these tactics. There are several militia teams there, from what I gather.
