Excerpt:

Bentivolio, a high school teacher and veteran from Milford, rallied the crowd, especially when he held up a copy of the U.S. Constitution and called it the owners manual. He pledged to serve no more than three terms in Congress, introduce term limit legislation and would post his votes online like U.S. Rep. Justin Amash, R-Cascade Township.

He decried out-of-control government spending: "I'm going to Congress so I don't spend your money," he said.

Turning to notes, he criticized what he called the 10 to 15 GOP "party bosses" who anointed a candidate in a "smoke-filled room," in reference to Cassis' write-in launch Thursday with the backing of Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson and others.

"It's a slap in our face!" yelled back one tea party member.

Awesome! I don't think any other politician has pledged to post all votes online. It's a great precedent set by Amash and we should definitely pressure all Congressmen especially the ones running for Congress (since they are the ones who will most likely make that promise) to pledge to post explanation for all votes.

so his money bomb is Thursday? If someone makes a graphic for it I'll put it in my signature with his website through Thursday.

I already made several, pick your poison (though I though images were disabled in sigs?):

No offense but I think those graphics would be more effective without a picture of his face.

Yeah when I try to update my signature it says the image BBCode is turned off, so it just displays as a hyperlink.

I love how Justin Amash posts all of his votes online because I actually read them. That is true dedication imo.
Agreed, it's a small yet HUGE gesture to his constituency in my opinion. Not only do we know his voting record, but we know his intentions and motivations.

Should really expect less of our elected representatives?

Amash is the man.
