Michele Bachmann Michele Bachmann's Holy War - Matt Taibi´s hitpiece (Rolling Stone article + video inside)

There are two ways this can help us. One is, it sums up handily why she doesn't have much of a shot at beating Obama in the general. The other is, she really is just scary enough to convince Democrats and independents to help us defeat her in the primaries.

Haven't thought of that. Indies and Dems should understand that Bachmann and Paul are both competing for the tea party nomination first, then the Republican.

Dems in Iowa, where Bachmann would be expected to do well, would have it explained to them that if Bachmann is the first tea party candidate out of Iowa, she'd be "unstoppable" or some other motivating, scary word. It could be explained to them that the top tea party candidate will get the support of the various tea parties that were so mighty in 2010, and will compete till the end with the top establishment Republican (currently Romney). If Democrats do not like the prospect of Bachmann being the top Iowa tea party candidate, they might want to help out a tea party challenger, like Ron Paul.
