About 11 days old but new to me and I don't think it's been posted here.

He's right about cutting food stamps and welfare.

Yes, but if Mr. Savage was doing just a little homework, he would realize that Rand would be the first to eliminate welfare and the first to control the border. And that he failed to wrap his mind around how much of the conservative agenda Rand forwarded here by giving away nothing in return for border control, and by making the GOP look competitive with Dems on this issue, and moving towards nullifying it as an issue that can defeat the GOP. It's pure brilliance, and Savage simply can't put 2 and 2 together.

Savage reminds me of the Stormfront/David Horowitz kind of conservative.

He actually started getting syndicated on WABC (the big NYC Am radio station), so I've heard him a few times. Holy cow, that guy is totally freakin' nuts. I don't mean that in a partisan way, but he's all over the place. I swear he spent 45 minutes whining about his diet and how he couldn't eat certain things, but that certain things were great and he wrote 12 books on it, and how his adoring fans know all of this. It was straight bizarre.

I must have missed where "borders, language, culture" were mentioned in the Constitution. Silly me, Dr. Savage, I thought the purpose of government was to protect individual liberty.

Yeah, he's kinda freaky and always goes on and on about himself, how smart he is, his phd in horticulture and how many books he's written. He's this big so-called conservative but chooses to live in Frisco when he could do his show from anywhere. Pretty sure he's a sadist.

He used to have some semblance of rationality. He went downhill pretty derned fast once he started.

x2, I don't see how you can be both of those lol. Stormfront people hate guys like Horowitz.
Perhaps I wrongly lumped them together but I was just thinking in terms of the lot of them probably have issues with the immigration scene because of skin color and/or multi-cultural issues.

Savage is being Savage. Immigration has always been one of his number 1 issues.

My mom had been a fan of Savage for a long time, and we have a couple of his books. His books are pretty good, and he comes off as a solid conservative albeit aggressive against immigration and things like drugs. He did rail against the Bushes and is generally a good fiscal conservative it seems. Other times, especially recently, he just seems all over the place. One day he'll sound like a Ron Paul supporter then the next he'll be bashing libertarians or something. It's really inconsistent now.

Jerry Doyle took his spot and that is a much better program if you ask me.

This^

When he was on I would count the number of times he would say "I". It's the most I've ever heard from someone.

He is all over the map and seems to go to break right when I'm thinking he just contradicted what he said yesterday or 5 minutes ago.

Then he wants me to buy a book on every show and sometimes spends a lot of time reading his own work, then says that people want/ask him to read but they should go buy his book. It is a twisted format and I really don't want to know what he and his dog did that day either.

Jerry > Savage

I'll never forget when Savage was saying we should level Mecca. His syndicated show was added to a local radio station immediately after 9/11.

Savage may be the most entertaining personality on radio. I used to listen to his show every day while working. You don't know if he'll be talking about his dog, pasta, Obama, his boat, Pelosi, etc. He's also the man who broke me from the GWB mold of conservative to simply "conservative" before I finally found the liberty movement.
