Michael Moore sure loves the Democratic Party

Michael Moore also says the Universal Health Care would only cost 300 Billion dollars. Of course he forgets that Medicare and Medicade currently already cost way more than that combined and it doesn't cover everyone.

I talked to Michael Moore yesterday in Michigan about RP

I was home with the folks in Traverse City MI over NY's, and I had the opportunity to meet Michael Moore. He lives around there, and has been heavily involved in a local theater and film festival Festival. So when I went to see the film Juno at the State Theater, he was hanging out in the lobby. I walked up to him and chatted him up.

I've talked to him a few times before, and I know his politics - he's a die-hard Dem. I knew I couldn't come straight out and try to win him over to RP. I told him that I loved Sicko, asked him who he'd endorse for prez, and stated that I didn't think that the top 3 Dem candidates were not anti-war enough - so what about Ron Paul? He said "oh Ron Paul, everyone likes Ron Paul", then he said that he hadn't really thought about who he was going to endorse, but would be issuing a statement today.

What's kind of funny is that I had some RP slim jims with me, but on the way to the theater they fell out of my pocket and into the mud. Crap! I could have given one to Michael Moore himself!!!

BTW - MM is actually a very gracious and personable guy when you meet him. He doesn't travel around with a security detail or retinue. It's just him there disheveled and engaging. Pretty cool.

Great post, thanks!

It would be nice if we can group and spam :D Michael moore with eMails so he can pay real attention to Ron Paul, why not?

If you want to kill Paul's chances at the nomination, I say go for it.

+10000000

An endorsement by Moore would be the worst possible thing for a Republican candidate. Most repubs (like myself) are completely turned off by him and consider him an idiot.

Remember, were seeking the REPUBLICAN nomination, meaning we need to appeal to Republican voters.

In the general election maybe, but in the primaries it would burry us.

I consider MM a hardcore big gov't socialist and he has the ear of some of my less informed, yet stubborn friends. A RP endorsement would be hilarious because they would sooner listen to him than me pointing out the facts.
