He is the only Republican (well, the other one only has $4). The Demoncrat will be strong in November, but we can hammer him on his stance on the war.

Well, he is the husband of our meetup organizer (and he helps a lot as well), it was an automatic yes when I saw his name.

I've seen him speak in person at various rallies and events in our area (while campaigning for RP) - he has a nice, smooth demeanor - I've never seen him get rattled at any question - he holds his own quite nicely.

FEC, which I just checked and it looks like he now has a whopping $60. Michael just announced, as he doesn't even have an FEC candidate declaration posted. I am going to be sending $50 in the next couple of days to his campaign, and if the Portland/Vancouver area focus on his campaign, and give him a couple hundred dollars, plus outside support, he will have plenty. TV is expensive in this district because it covers both Seattle-area and Portland-area channels, so there will be little TV advertisement, but the incumbent won't have any either.

You were looking at Michael Messmore, not at Michael Delavar. He is $0s across the board because he is not required to divulge until he has raised over $5000 to the FEC. I hope this helps.

he sounds strong against the radicals, while mentioning that the strong defense against them is not pissing them off

Whew, we, the grassroots, have our hands full with all of these new candidates. We've got to move this information beyond RPFs to get these candidates funded. This list is getting way too long to handle properly. I'm putting Michael on hold until May as other campaigns are more urgent. I'll be back.

The Delavars have been in this from the beginning. They worked extremely hard to win their county for Ron Paul, I have known both of them since finding Ron Paul. Some of the nicest people I have met in a long time. He has my full support and I hope he has yours as well.
We really need to rally together to make sure that the candidates that are running have the funds needed to RUN. The Delavar campaign needs fund, CAN WE EACH GIVE THEM $50!
