Michael Cloud - Essence of Political Persuasion torrent

Hi all,

I was trying to think of what I could do to help out the campaign, and since there are torrents flying around and people are working to get the message out, I figured I'd dig up my old cassette tapes of Michael Cloud's - Essence of Political Persuasion, make them into mp3's and create a torrent.

I thought it may give some people some new tips on communicating the message even though the program was created in the 80's.

If anybody can host them, I'd gladly upload it so people can download it that way.

Excellent Information!

Michael Cloud's info on these tapes is excellent! I recall them many years ago when I was pushing for RP for Libertarian Prez. I used the info quite a lot - it is indeed really effective. Definitely download it and give it a listen.

I was just reading Michael Cloud yesterday, trying to learn how to avoid the dreaded "libertarian macho flash."

Michael Cloud is one of the best Libetarian writers that has come out in years. If he were to run for the presidency, I would be right by his side. I met him once and he is a great person on top of an amazing author. If we all read his series on political persuasion, this revolution would go even farther.

Wow. This is the first post I ever put on these forums. I'm surprised this torrent is still circulating.

Poetically enough, the day my first ever post gets bumped to the top, I get to go out and vote for Ron Paul.

Also, his book "The Secrets of Libertarian Persuasion" has tons of great thoughts and techniques.

The only thing that sucks is that the set is still only available on audio cassette. What is this, 1985??? I don't even have a tape deck on which to play one of those!

They could have squeezed all four tapes onto one mp3 disc. Save countless buckeroonies on excess packaging and data storage. Hint, hint, Advocates Store. I love y'all to death, but it might be time to give this puppy (and many others in your indispensable catalogue) a sweet 21st century rerelease on a smarter, more economical, and vastly more accessible medium.

Heck, while we're at it...why not an Advocates iTunes-style store, where you could just pay a fee and download the files instantaneously, sans disc and all. It would be brilliant!
