MI weather

Chance of snow tomorrow in Michigan! It is currently snowing and cold outside. Good for us?

Lake effect snow on the west side might help keep hard core Republicans home, but anything short of a blizzard would not have much influence IMO. We're used to snow here. My polling location is close by.

Besides that, senior citizens are automatically issued absentee ballots!
Supposed to be cold and snowy. It'd be better if it was cold and wet.

Well I am taking My Mom to the polls, and anyone else from her apt building.
We have snow today, but should clear tomorrow.

If she's not voting for Ron Paul, DON'T TAKE HER TO VOTE!

:))

Good news is here in Ann Arbor a few of the polling places are in the dorms - so if the weather is bad a higher % of young/college voters will still vote!

I just heard on channel 12, the state thinks there will be a low turn out for the primaries. They said last time, they got 1000 absentee ballots by this time and this time they only had 600. I'm sure the Ron Paul supporters will turn out anyway, so this may be very good for us.

Yep, I think it is going to be a low turnout. I just checked with my aunt and uncle to see if they were voting tomorrow...they're pretty hard core Dem and usually vote. Aunt said she might vote for RP, and uncle said he'd just stay home because he doesn't like any of the candidates.

If they get a low turnout, probably be the last time they have a primary. Costs too much $$

Don't forget to come to the meeting tonight. I haven't seen you in awhile and we've been needing you.

Local stations were predicting a 20% turnout this morning. It is still snowing lightly in many places and the temp isn't much higher than yesterday.

Unfortunately much of the news coverage I saw was suggesting that democrats should vote democratic anyway, but vote "undeclared"? The reasoning was the the delegates could be persuaded later. But I thought they completely stripped all the MI delegates, am I mistaken about that?

I plan to join some people outside the voting locations (I guess we are supposed to be 100 feet from the entrance), to help encourage those people who haven't made up their mind yet. In my opinion, someone who still hasn't made up their mind when they show up at the poll, shouldn't be voting anyway, I mean what are they really basing their decision on in this case? But these votes can still come our way if we show that Dr. Paul's support is real, despite what the MSM tells them.
