MI-11 Special Election Results (update: Kerry wins!)

That election was not rigged electronically. Bentivolio won it but it was very tight.

:cool: Just got back from the party and I gotta admit we were all quite worried when we saw it getting close in Oakland but I knew that us down in Wayne would represent. Kerry is extremely exhausted yet very happy to have pulled it off. There was about 50+ at the party and we had free pizza and beer courtesy of the owners of the Token Lounge who are big time Paulers. He made a good speech on the stage and footage of that should be coming soon. As we were awaiting the results to come in it was nice to see the Tigers finally stick it to Cleveland and then I knew we'd win this.:p Meanwhile, Nancy is short a couple hundred grand.
 
I wonder, is it an advantage that his name will appear twice on the ballot and Taj only appears once? I have to think it is.

Bentivolio and Massie now get the opportunity to be sworn in in November and serve with Ron Paul for several weeks.

As he was telling me about all the stress involved in this race, he said he had to do things like going out and painting the chicken coop in order to relax. He went out to a precinct for a few hours yesterday and then returned home for a nap and told his wife to wake him up on Nov 7. He was so relieved to win last night and was quite bashful when the "Kerry" chants started. In his speech, he mentioned that we need to unite and defeat Obama and naturally someone in the crowd yelled out Johnson. Of course, the Johnson peeps were there handing out bumper stickers but I'm still not even sure if he's gonna be on our ballot. If that's the case, I'm gonna skip the Prez election and just vote down ticket.

It's because the other candidates were pretty much inconsequential and both main candidates were opposing each other. Saying it in other words, the sum has to be 100% and as one candidate rises, the other has to fall.

All the charts in VA this year are perfect mirror images because there were only two candidates: Mitt and Ron.
