I'm not here to serve or to entertain anyone, I'm here to have some access to interesting information and some discussion. Everybody here throws insults, only a few get the infractions.
 
Discussing things is so much more pleasant when we can all manage to discuss the topics without the addition of insults, being demeaning, or any the other unpleasantries. It's hard sometimes, I know. Believe me, I know. Especially when we're discussing topics that are very important to us. But we have to try. If for no other reason than training for talking to others in real life. Because if we come at them like what is often prevalent here, they wouldn't listen to word 1 that we said to them.

Some? That's it! Hmm so after christmas can we shut down the border to prevent the migration from coming back? I saw a few mexicans standing outside u-haul today. When I returned the rented pick-up I was going to invite him to ride in my car to mexico. Next time!

Without control of immigration and borders, we have no control of our culture. The vast majority of Mexicans vote socialist, as evidenced by the corrupt regimes that have run that country since its inception.

Coming here to work and steal American jobs, suck off the government teat, and sending their earnings to another country is bad enough. Their collective presence also raises market prices for goods with inelastic supply (housing, land, petrol) Then when they stay long enough to vote, they vote for big government. We lose all the way around, our incomes drop, our prices increase (drops in cost of labor are rarely reflected in price), taxpayers pay the increased burden of supporting US workers who are displaced.

Its a bad deal all around. If we control the number, and filter for value, we dont risk being overwhelmed.

Liberty for US citizens first. Let the world take care of itself.

I pretty much agree. I have no real concern for the culture, except that it is important for people to have jobs and work. The article mentioned some guy who was an auto mechanic, here legally, who was going back to Mexico.

Why was he here??? There are double digit employment rates in several Michigan cities. The UAW spends millions in "training " - but they can't train unemployed auto workers? Instead, they have to bring in Mexicans and train them to repair cars?

I call BS.

We live close to Canada, so we see a lot of their news. They are setting up processing stations near the border, because there is a steadily increasing flow of Mexican and American citizens headed to Canada.

Having so many people on welfare is why there's such a need for immigrant work, I think. Isn't Patterson in New York having to increase welfare benefits by 30%? That's a very telling sign how dependent so many people have become on the system.

I'm not judging, I'm lazy :P But that's mostly because I'm kinda not liking my job right now. I was 100 times more productive at Arby's than I am here at this dev internship, go figure :rolleyes:

Okay...what about the immigrants who are going through the proper channels, and waiting in line like they should? So, you want to reward the assholes who are breaking the rules while shafting the people who are doing it the right way?

I work with a girl who moved here with her family 10 years ago and they're FINALLY getting their citizenship. Is it fair to her and her family to watch people cut in front of them and get their citizenship after being here for only a fraction of the time?

Would you like it if a whole throng of people cut in front of you while you waited in line at Best Buy (or some other place) for three hours on Black Friday?
