I don't want my tax dollars going to the lazy for free aid but I am ESPECIALLY pissed when that money goes to people who aren't even Americans and who have not respected the sovereign borders of my country.

We have laws in America. One set of laws is that if you are not an American then you cannot enter the country without permission.

If Americans decided on open borders (that is to say a law is passed in accordance with the U.S. Constitution) that would be one thing but that is not the current reality.

Therefore ILLEGAL immigrants should be arrested and deported.

"Illegal" means against the law.

Why? Do you own the U.S.? If an individual wishes to pursue to raise his and his family's standard of living through hard work, sacrifice, and competition in the market, why shouldn't he be allowed to come here? The U.S. is a huge, place and you don't own it, just whatever property you own. The Mexicans here have been wonderful for us, they work hard and it shows. Giving them welfare to leech off of is another story that is anti-libertarian.

Instead of labeling, how about let's look at the issue further. Here's my take on it. One of the reasons Americans were free for so long was because we had a culture here of independence and an understanding of the proper role of government, self-sufficiency, personal responsibility and individual liberty. Children USED to be raised with these fundamentals.

We should of course have immigration, but in my opinion, at this point we should cherry pick and choose those who will 1. not be a drain on the country 2. are disease-free 3. offer some kind of know-how that is needed 4. have a burning desire to become an American and assimilate into OUR culture.

If we just allow our borders to be overrun, what we are doing, in addition to adding to the bankruptcy and deterioration of our hospitals and schools, we are allowing people to come here not because they want to become Americans, but because they want the financial benefits. When you think about this, think about the government under which many of these people have lived. They know nothing else. Do you really want to bring people in who will vote for more government like that which they have known? Don't we already have enough to deal with with the dumbed-down American citizens?

I'm talking about our culture and history of liberty.

In my opinion, multi-culturalism has been pushed by the very elements that we are fighting against right now. Divide and conquer. Why do you think they've ushered in so many illegal aliens and turned their heads as they flew Mexican flags above American flags, spit on Americans, claimed large areas of our country were theirs and that they planned to take it? This is all part of their plan and it's working.
