I had a Condo in Fl and home in Iowa. SoldCondo at top after 4 hurricanes. If you choose to live in high risk areas do not ask me to pay your insurance bill. Maybe get all high risk areas into a pool and pay damm insurance or move! The Government should not be involved-----do not use my money. Take responsibility

Home insurance rates their should be higher than everywhere else because there is more risk. Ron Paul's idea would be for them to live within their means and if that means not living in a high risk area, then move! The government shouldn't be taking my/our hard-earned money and giving low rate insurance to these people. Paul, if he had anything to say on the subject, would probably mention that the free market should dictate the rates.

Duh, you think I never heard that before ???? It was just an idea ... screw it you people must live in a missile silo...oh wait they flood if the power goes...guess we could all go live in caves... maybe you are right.............srew'em they should have know better. I don't want to pay for Caif. fires/quakes or Katrina or '93 floods either. insurance companies know best. It was just a stupid idea sorry.
