meeting up at the march

My wife and I discussed flying to DC for the march a day or two before with our 4 year old son. I like to teach the little guy about the country and have him see the sights in DC before the March.... is anyone else intrested in a family type tour of DC. Maybe meeting for dinner and organzing a tour for children and parents... LMK

That is EXACTLY what my wife and I were thinking about doing. My daughter is only two now, so I'm not sure how much she'd get out of it. I have never made it to DC, and my wife is a naturalized citizen who's only been here 8 years and never made it herself.

But we were hoping on either coming early or staying late and calling it our family vacation for the year, spend some time seeing the sights.

Edit: We aren't planning to fly though, driving in from the Chicago area.

Great idea. My son will only be about 11 months or so (guessing), but I'm sure we (including my wife) would love to do something like this.

we have to realize that this march requires serious organization buses trains planes car pools its got to converge together and bring 300,000 voters block and up stage the RNC. "win" fat chance the gop loses both houses of congress and the potus ron paul has a very good opportunity to take charge of the gop opposition party set its political platform and rebuild a valid small government conservative political party that seekd to serve and protect the needs of the peoples and not lobbies and corporations.
