people on ghb simply forget how to breathe. since when did someone whos stoned do that. and ecstasy leaves you depressed and suicidal, steroids makes you angry (chris benoit). and 4-mta is an experimental drug that hardly anyone knows much about.

fuckin stupid man.

at least they put alcohol on there... even tho they say its more dangerous than amphetamines.

retards.

This is really the worst part:

"The police officers fired a total of 39 shots, six of which hit Johnston"

Amazing. Dont they have a test, where the officers have to prove they can hit a target at a rate better than 15%

Cannabis should be at the bottom of this list and Ecstacy should be moved up a few and so should LSD. When taken frequently over a long period of time E will damage your brain as it is slightly neurotoxic and will affect your seratonin levels. LSD is harmful in large doses (it's dosed in micrograms) and can be absorbed through the skin. The real danger is an overdose in inexperienced users messing with the liquid.

Cannabis is harmless, non-addictive, has no harmful side effects or overdose level. You could literally eat pounds of it and be fine. (not recommended, lol)

Any of these drugs, however, when used responsibly can be part of a healthy lifestyle, just like alcohol is used by millions to relax after a long week. The real challenge would be to manufacture them in a controlled way to keep them safe.

Medical Cannabis

This is my first post here :)

I was looking though all the different disscussion that are being covered here.
A vast selection!!

I saw this thread here on medical Cannabis, that I am quite interested in..

To help bring everyone up to speed, a short testimony.

I was once a youngin that did enjoy recreational use of cannabis, but those were years ago, but an injury, decades later, that changed my whole life. Years later while cutting down trees in NC, I was struck down by a tree top that had broke free and struck my in the right side of my skull, causing severe head trauma, I was Air flown to Asheville hospital, were they did 5.5 hrs of emergency reconstructive skull surgery, 4 hematomas were removed from my brain, alot of phyical rehab followed, allow with severe seizures due to the injury.
I was prescribed heavy pain killers and anti seizures medicines to calm the reacurrance of them, but as time passed and seizures continued, I read that cannabis was a known anti-seizure medicines, that helped many people.

After discussing with my doctor this new information i had concerning my seizures and pain, he told me , His hands were tied... and there was nothing he or I could do about it.

I had had 4 seizures and had gone from 183 lbs to 124 lbs and being 6ft 1inch, that is pretty damn skinny, and not very healthy.

The prescribed medicines causes sever stomach cramping, restless sleep, vomiting, a host of side effects that clearly were not helping toward the road of healing.
I left the doctors office in total dismay that i was just going to die and it didnt matter..
By the time evenin had come , i was pissed off.
Time to take control of my life, my health, my liberty.....

So I prayer to God about my medical situation and I threw my Pharmaculticle in the toilet and began a medical cannabis regement.

With in 2 weeks, my weight began to climb, the head aches became more managerable, no vomiting, sleep full 6 -8 hrs, which i had not done in almost a year.
several months had gone by and no seizure had occured, my weight had climbed nearly 20 lbs, 20 lbs.... :)
I began to think, What if i had Not done what i did, I could be very well died by now.....

So I began searching for others that were having success using cannabis instead of Prescibed pharms.
And I did, more and more i met on the internet, and more events i would go to and finally, finally got the courage to speak publically , My Medical Testimony.

A year passed and i attented the international drug reform policy conference in LA
there i shared my idea to ride across the United States and share my medical testimony and test weather or Not cannabis would prevent seizures under a physically stressed situation.

months passed , a bicycle was bought and a route was made.
April 7 2006, i started from folly beach,sc and spent 84 days on my bicycle peddling to San Fransisco for Medical Cannabis Patients Rights and Freedoms.

The funny thing is , I had not been on a bicycle for over 28 years .

My bicycle ride was named Journey for Justice Seven
Many medical testimonies were filmed and put on Youtube , for the world to know the truth concerning the use of Cannabis as a MEDICINE... :)

I read about Mike Maresco and his journey across the United States for Ron Paul.
I was elated to see another fellow human doing the impossible.
I wrote mike, wishing him god speed and any help i can do for him.
Couple months passed, and i read that mike still didnt have a support team, all i could think was damn , how is he doing?????
So Shirley and I put together our truck/trailer and wrote and called Mike offering our help and support.
And we are here :)
It is an honor to be helping another fellow human, in suceeding in a most difficult undertaking.
By all of us coming together in Our each and every way we can help
We the People Can have Ron Paul as President, but WE ALL must help every little way posssible.
I would like thank also Marc Emery- Cannabis Culture for the Giant Ron Paul Banners we have on our trailer and help with gasoline.

Hehe...not so sure you can take heroin and maintain a healthy lifestyle. But I don't think you meant that :p
