Medicaid pays for 40% of births

Quite a voting bloc eh?

The Rubicon has long since been crossed.

And when this whole system collapses, just like it did in the USSR, millions will die, just like they did in the USSR, because they cannot comprehend anything outside of government school, government health, government jobs, and government retirement.

I have yet to have an open and honest discussion about "personal responsibility" with a lefty. The refuse to acknowldege those two words.

Make things a hell of a lot more affordable and us on medicaid/care and EBT could afford food and medical care. I refuse to let my kids go without because the government wants to jack prices up sky high. Oh and now neither me or my wife can find FULL TIME work because of obamacare no one wants to pay the benefits...I have been looking for months now and the wife is working 30-35 hours a week maybe! No benefits nothing...she might get a raise in July but it won't help much, and the SSI I get for screwing my back up a few years ago probably will be yanked from under us come next August when I go up for a review...so really hoping I can find work before then that can support us...we are very thrifty but its getting harder and harder to make it on 1500$ a month.

I figure they are giving it to illegals and others why not get my piece of the pie while its still there...my wife works and pays into the system mine as well get something back out of it and I don't feel a damn bit bad about it either.

By golly you're entitled because it's your birthright!

This country of ours is thoroughly screwed!

"Free-stuff" for anyone must come from charity not government!

Any honest infant mortality stats would include at least some abortions, which would probably make the US among the worst in the world, if not the #1 worst, in terms of survival for the youngest human beings.

NationalAnarchist, I'm with you there. I had to quit my job in December because of my back and other physical problems. My husband's job is only part time. I have applied for SS/SSI but I'm doubtful of getting it. I'm waiting on my food stamps so I can go try to stretch them as far as I can. My husband is interviewing for a good job next week. It's the second time he's interviewed for the same job. I really hope he can get it.
We're not eligible for Medicaid. I had to get apply for the hospital's charities for my recent gallbladder surgery. My husband's work offers a personal care account through an insurance company but I've messed it up now by paying some bills from last year so now I have to figure out how to get my medicine that I need to have. My husband is a veteran so he goes to the VA clinic. My son doesn't have any medical coverage either, luckily he's pretty healthy.

I wish one of us could find work we could make ends meet on but its just not happening anytime soon. I went to school got a skill ain't done me a bit of good in the 6 years I have had my skill have found no work. Once kids are back in school come September intend to start school again myself...not sure for what but gotta try something. Indeed this country is screwed by while we are at it go ahead get some of the pie the government is just handing out...we qualified for it.8$ an hour don't go far and thankfully for my SSI it pays the rent and some bills. Can't even afford to fill my vehicle up...been February since that happened.

Sounds a lot like us a few years back took me over 2 years to get SSI and they ended up giving me over 5k in back pay, course with waiting that long bills had backed up so it was gone before I even remember having it.Good luck getting it,I had to apply twice and jump through so many hoops.
