Media source picks up "banned china Ron Paul commercial" as real

Ok I'm changing the title and adding (unofficial) on the end of the title. I'll put an overlay on the end later when I get home. It will be a small one line bar linking to the original video.

I love it. I wish you could get rid of Abe Lincoln in the background, but I know that's not going to happen LOL!!

May as well leave it and see where it goes. Though a comment on the article pointed out something that's a bit silly.

"So let me see if I understand the logic of this commercial. America will fail if they invest in a strong, centralized government, and be replaced by... a strong, centralized government. Huh?"

I think the lad has a point. Any rebuttals to his statement?

He should have added controlled by a tyrannical maniacal tyranny disguised as a capitalist leaning communist sort of country, I think that's what I meant.

Communism only looks like it works on the outside.

Inside its full of backbiting, murdering, bribed officials.

I try to stay away from saying evil.

But in mankind's history, the things that have been done by that government, are what define evil

Putting lipstick on a pig is all that government does.
If they could and they soon may be able to, march right through our front doors.
Then we all, each one of us would be their slaves, working in mines 18 hours a day until you die.

Don't believe it? look at history friends.

So, answer? His point to most thinking Americans is moot because they know what China is.

Sadly another child has been stolen and brainwashed by the system.

Ok, legitimate question, can we get this on tv?? It's AMAZING!!
haha no would be a straight answer from 50 lawyers lol... first the video was taken from citizens for public something (i forgot). second we'll need to have that chinese guy do some voice overs coz the Ron Paul audio part was taken from previous clips. lol and third I think they banned the original commercial, so I doubt they approve this one :)

altho we all want something like this to wake up people in the mainstream. lol youtube is the only place it :(

lol why take it down? how can it hurt? promoting ron as trying to save america for 30 years? let the media stumble over itself. if it WAS real then it would be a good ad i think.

Shanghaiist, which incorrectly reported on the story, took down their article, btw.

yeah Im talking to someone who lives in china, and he's saying its funny because this is what the government in local newspapers are talking about. he's saying the video depiction is pretty accurate.

"Strong centralized government" is an ambiguous statement and non sequitur. The point in this commercial is not the form of government or the strength of government its about the economy. It's about stimulus fiat printing, tax and spend policies and increased debt as an attempt to "fix" the economy. China is a lending nation. We are a borrowing/consuming nation. That's what this is about.

The only potential fix is that it claims they owned most of our debt, which is not true. However, it's a futuristic video, so I guess it's also plausible that it is suggesting they will own most of our debt.

I was the RPF member who asked for this, so of coarse I want it left up.
Scare these sheep awake, as other tactics have not worked.

I think the only people it would hurt us with...is China. It's pretty blatant in the vid it's not a campaign thing. Anybody in America who hates Paul will dismiss it as a "fanboy utube" and anybody who like Paul will like it. Those on the fence will hear his name, and that can only help. My 2 cents, leave it.

I'll see your two cents and raise you two more: And people can have a good laugh about the media being fooled into thinking this is official campaign stuff.

Why so worried about having it politically correct, it will garner more views if you just leave it AS IS.
