McMahon Spends $2 million in 2 Weeks

I'm sure Peter will have the last word on anything that EuroPac does even if he does become Senator and his brother runs the show. I just think he will have more sway politically if he's in the Senate educating these politicians on a regular basis. Likely, he'll get tv appearances either way.

Exactly.

And she's not milking people of lesser means to finance her risk-taking.

Right on.

Y'all think Peter Schiff will be an easy sell 'cuz he's so smart. He's the SAME kinda smart as the dudes who are running this country into the ground. He is a Financier. Better at it, I'll grant -- though I understand there are some people who will NOT grant it. People for whom he LOST money. The species Financier is of the BANKER family.

Someone on this board actually said it would be "sweet" for Peter Schiff to be in the United States Senate and Peter's brother to run their investment house. Hello?

Peter Schiff would better serve the cause as Financial and Economic Advisor to all liberty candidates than to spend YOUR money trying to gain that little splinter of limelight that we know PERFECTLY WELL cannot materially turn the Titanic.

I could maybe forgive her for supporting Democrats. especially depending on the candidate. But the DNC? What has a central party of the duopoly ever really done for us?

And then to really make it worse, Rahm Emmanuel? Despised by libertarians and progressives alike? Really?

So anybody who handles finance is irreparably tainted? Dude, not all finance is bad. We are free to enter into contracts with anyone. We risk our own assets. What is so wrong about that?

Better at it, I'll grant -- though I understand there are some people who will NOT grant it. People for whom he LOST money.

Show me some cases. As far as I've heard, his clients made their money back and more. Otherwise don't throw around claims you can't back.

The best battle may well be to give McCahon a lesson in the philosphy of liberty and not nessicarily getting Peter into office. You work within the rules of the system until you are in a position to change it.

People like McMahon are dangerous they are in it for power and prestige. Principles may align one minute but 'good intentions' will lead them down a road of oppression the next.

If you want to turn her line her up with a liberty cause that will make her famous... or infamous. Not too many senators that leave a legacy. Working to make a career of it does not sound like her goal. She wants to leave her mark. Network her, turn her advisors, get to her.. point her at something to champion like No Sheriff Left behind or thirty-thousand.org

I just had a thought, with McMahon are they trying to crowd out Schiff and prop up Simmons? It really doesn't make sense but if they can quickly establish Linda and Simmons as dominant in the race they can squeeze out Peter, maybe that's what they're doing ??

WHAT? An open-minded, free-thinking person?! How did you slip in? BREACH IN SECURITY!

You are correct about SOME Big Money realizing, as one foot gets nearer the grave, that they would like to do something that ENDURES in a positive way -- for humanity, not just their own Klan. Linda McMahon I DO put in that camp. The George Bushes, I do not.

I agree with Schiff's candidacy, I just don't think he'll win. His candidacy could push other Republicans to the right fiscally. It could also work towards bringing in more people into the fold. I'd consider him like a more local and more mainstream Ron Paul in Connecticut.

Incoherent rambling is incoherent rambling.

Most people donating to Schiff donate small amounts of money, so it isn't like anyone is actually losing large amounts of money. Besides, it's voluntary.

I hope Schiff runs issue-specific ads with that $1 million, so that he can start changing hearts and minds and force the other candidates to be more consistent.

This kind of sucks. Schiff seems to be out-gunned here. Hopefully, he can run a positive campaign and at least impact the other candidates. Maybe he could influence McMahon and get her to hire him as an advisor. It would always be nice to have a Bachmann-like pro-market Senator.

McMahaon donated to Rahm Emmanuel's congressional campaigns three times!

She is useless.

From an old SNL skit :D:

Moderator: And, finally, Gov. Cuomo.

Gov. Mario Cuomo: Thank you, Fay. Tonight, we've heard a lot about images of perception, about what poll shows what candidate losing by the least to whom at any given time.. Now, I could stand here and talk about the inaccuracy of polling, or the subjective nature of the process - but that's not the real issue here! The real issue is simple - I.. have.. mob ties!

Cheapseats, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and will take a look at Linda Mcmahon. I've been following Schiff for over a year now watching his youtube videos and sometimes listening to his weekly radio show. I am familiar with his stance on issues important to me. Where can I find out where Linda McMahon stands on bailouts, stimulus, nationalized healthcare, free trade, and cap & trade?

Why? Can't you see he's batshit crazy from his past comments on this thread?

Cause I didn't really read the thread before I posted. :o Plus, I'm curious what McMahon is going to spend all that money on. My guess is that she going to be yet another bland, take no stand on anything politician that runs on biography rather than principles.

Linda McMahon was in the new episode of South Park last Wednesday night. Unfortunately, she had no significant role, and was only there sitting next to her husband during a scene. I was hoping the entire time they'd rip on her campaign.

I think that was Vince McMahon. He's got the brains.

Yep. Vince McMahon entered the industry, following in his father's footsteps, and Linda McMahon (his wife for only a few years by this point) followed along. Linda McMahon only got involved with the business in 1993 when she was made president during the steroids scandal the company faced that year, which lasted until 2000.

She was certainly not the brains behind the WWF. Of course, cheapseats probably didn't know this because hardly a single thing he ever writes is backed up by logic or rational discourse.

Are you suggesting he built that empire all by his lonesome?

No, I'm sure that Linda helped him with some stuff considering she's his wife. If he would have married some other women, that women would have helped him just the same. No Vince, No WWF/WWE. I'd say Vince accounts for 90% of the success of the WWE/WWF.
