McCain's response to RP reminded me of Miss Teen South Carolina

That is exactly what Ron Paul's strategy was - to show how ignorant McCain is on economics. Sadly it probably went over a lot of people's heads.

As I was watching the debate, I thought it was a terrible question and I thought that Ron wasted a good opportunity. However, after further review, I think it was great! McCain clearly had no idea what he was talking about and he looked like fool trying to bumble his way through the answer.

There is a chance, albeit a small one, that the media will pick up on this since they were hitting him last night regarding his denial of the "I'm not good with economics" quote. I think that's what Ron was looking for. He wasn't trying to look great with the question, but rather, was trying to put a question out there that would make McCain look foolish and let the media talk about it for a few days.

After all, I think McCain had boned up on who's in charge of Germany by then. So much for his foreign policy experience.

What does he understand--besides which arms merchants give the best kickbacks?

"I think the economcy, such as, people in Africa need money and like Americans, such as, Phil Gramm and the Treasury Secretary could defeat the terrorists, such as Osama..."
