Well, I would tend to agree with you; however, working on the issue of suicide and antidepressants, and school shootings, etc. I look at the fact that the VA Tech shooter's medical records and court records were sealed. So, Let's be clear, there is a point when corruption hides behind the right to privacy. In addition, the President of the United States will be making important "privacy" related decisions as you pointed out. But, the big difference here is a President is also in charge of the Constitution and the Millitary, we the people have a right to know about his judgement and decision making. If his records include psychiatric treatments that deal with the mind, and he is on mind altering drugs, we have a right to know. The mind is where all the decisions are made. If someone is being treated with mind altering drugs, those drugs have an impact on the decision making process. In addition, our entire mental health system is currently undergoing a massive crisis, I would like to know exactly who has access to the President's mind, and the policies that are impacted by that mind as it relates to the the safety of the American people and the policies that flow from that mind, regardless of who that candidate is, it is not personal.
The VA Tech shooter records were sealed under the "right to privacy", I would like to know what mind altering drug he was on when he killed 35 fellow American people. Don't you think we have a right to know?
