Louisiana – A super majority of the victorious “Pro-Life, Pro-Family” (PFPL) slate have endorsed the candidacy of US Senator John McCain for President.

The PFPL endorsement ensures the McCain campaign is likely to carry at least 41 of 47 delegates. Members of the organization included numerous elected officials, grass roots organizers, party leaders and longtime conservative organizers. The PFPL originally ran as uncommitted to any candidate and focused their message on protecting traditional Republican values.

“We believe John McCain is the only viable true conservative in the race today,” said Jay Connaughton, one of the group’s organizers. “We are excited to endorse him and support the pro-life, less government philosophy for which he has fought so hard.”

“Our support of John McCain sends a clear message that his candidacy is strongly supported by social conservatives,” commented Connaughton.

In addition to receiving the endorsement of the PFPL group, McCain’s campaign in Louisiana also gained significant strength, picking up the endorsements of Chairman of the Republican Party of Louisiana, Roger Villere and Louisiana National Committeewoman Kay Katz and National Committeeman Ross Little.

“John McCain is a national hero,” stated Roger Villere. “He is someone who never gives up and says what he means. This character trait that will carry us to victory in November… and Louisiana will be solidly in his corner.”

The upcoming February 16th state convention will be responsible for electing 44 delegates to the Republican National Convention in this fall.

Former Governor Buddy Roemer is currently travelling with Senator McCain in several Super Tuesday states.

If the election were held today, who would you vote for?

U.S. SENATOR
MARY LANDRIEU
SOMEONE ELSE

I think its clear they intended to do this from the start.

I'm cussing them out silently right now.

I wonder how the individual PLPF delegates feel about this endoresement. Obviously they are not bound to vote for McCain, but are we to assume that they will just fall in line? Clearly Paul (or even Huck) would be better candidates for their stated platform than McCain.

Dr Paul said on the MTV debate TWICE that he probably won Louisiana. I pray they are going after the LAGOP with everything they've got!

That site the article is found in is only a political press release site. Anybody can send in a press release, this one shows it was sent in by Buddy Roemer. Take it with a grain of salt.

God I just can't stand this... so what are we going to do? Time to start marching! I'm serious!

it is truly disgusting when someone calls McCain a true conservative over Dr. Paul.

Those are the key conspirators, and the PLPF slate were always pro-McCain, the voters were defrauded of their votes by the conspiracy, and the bastards belong in jail. We are going to do our best to see that they get what they deserve, WE'RE BRINGING THEM TO JUSTICE!

Those delegates will not be able to cast their fraudulent ballots. (I hope)

Good Evening Folks,

As you all know, we are suing the Republican Party of Louisiana for mishandling the entire caucus process and attempting to walk off with our victory. However, we need people (our delegates) to be the plaintiff's in the case. Please speak with the delegates in your district and find several delegates and alternates that are willing to put their names down on the suit as plaintiffs.

Please send me the names of the people who are willing as soon as possible.

Thanks!
