The constitution did set up our system of Gov as a Republic. Its too bad our government is pandering itself so far outside of the scope scribed in the constitution. This crap lets the tyranny of the majority screw up the country for the rest of us. People vote socialist and wonder why thins get so screwed up.. then they move somewhere else and do the same. nice. If this was still a Gov limited to the Constitution it wouldn't be such a big deal.
