can we get the exact text of what he said and make this viral? a youtube video perhaps?

we HAVE TO capitalize on this.
 
If anything should be the death nail to McCain it's this blatently antagonistic attitude toward the Muslim world. This is just reckless!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Wow...I'm glad I wasn't the only one who picked up on that one.

He certainly didn't get any applause from the South Carolina crowd though....I don't know if you noticed, but there was almost a slight hush/whispering in the crowd actually. I'm sure it won't go unnoticed - besides Faux News who didn't even ask him about that on the spin afterwards.
 
As someone intelligently pointed out, Islam is not a race and al qaida and the taliban would absolutely prefer every woman, whether Islamic or not, to be cloaked in an oppressive burkha.

Another fact that some may not be aware of, is that men and women of Arabic countries do not make up the mass of Islam. Asian people make up the majority of those that follow the faith of Islam.

Be careful in trying some of these techniques. People of ALL races, including men and women from around the world (black, white, asian, european and other descents) practice the faith of Islam. Without knowledge, this can quickly backfire. Be informed and know what you are saying, so that it doesn't make us look bad.

As if he ever had them in the first place... what an idiot... he uses the same lines about a million times (ugggh!!!) and he wants to say in Iraq 100 years. Idiot... this ain't Europe we're talking about. You occupy a middle eastern nation that's seen as an affront to the Muslim people's beliefs.

You have missed the point. Ron Paul was not talking about the Taliban specifically. He was talking about the MidEast. What McCain responded with was a bigoted, xenohphobic comment, implying that the entire MidEast is the Taliban and they all want women to wear burkhas. Moreover, the Taliban isn't even IN the Middle East. Afghanistan is not considered a part of the ME.

We are arguing over semantics. Racist, bigot, xenophobe, same thing. The point is what he said was totally uncallled for and should be dealt with just like when African-Americans or Jews are verbally abused.

And I thought when he said "gook" in 2000 it was just a slip up due in part to the traumatic experience he went through in vietnam...but...i guess hes just plain racist
