McCain: Still fighting Vietnam?

Is it possible that McCain thinks Iraq = Vietnam. Not literally, but does he think that if we stick it out in Iraq then it will justify Vietnam?

His anger and other issues make it seem like he is still locked in a war that everyone else has moved on from.
