I thought McCain's speech was tired looking. Chris Matthews and the gang riped it up. The old tired group of GOPs. We have Obama, young, I had something crawl up my leg when I was listening to Obama, that is what Chris Matthews said. Totally wierd. And Keith, I am sorry, I am sure there are people who really like that guy, I just don't, he is so into himself and commented Well McCain can't speak after Obama. It's just not good placement. No one can speak after him. Yuk.

What fools the GOP is, total fools. The GOP is never going to get fired up over McCain, even if they give away toaster ovens. He is toast.

It is no longer news, it is like cheering groups, you know exactly what news person is a democrat or republican. It is like they are running the entire Country through their little chatter, really scary, very elitest. I think it is official, we have State run television.

Whenever I hear Obama speak, I want to shout, "Would you hurry up and make a point!"

I do not see him as the great orator that many of his followers do.

The GOP is just using Mccain cause he knows he will fall in line.

Do nothing on Immagration

Do nothing about the war

Do nothing about us depending on china

the great snorator

He's not. He's young and black and personable, but he's no orator. In fact, I just realized I react the same way you do when he's speaking. It's like, "Come on, say something -- my Tivo's about to switch to Colbert!"

I've watched a lot of Obama speeches, and all of them have no substance, he makes no points other than "we need change! I'll bring change!" and his supporters stand mesmorized

I know, he will talk for hours and say absolutely nothing. People are so gullible.

The only speech that felt real was his speech at the Dem convention. His stump speech screams, "FAKE!" It sends chills up my spine.

We are in deep trouble with any of the contenders.

I think that Obama is inspiring for some reason, I see the attraction, but maybe that is just because we have been through 7 years of Bush. Obama says nothing of substance, takes 20 minutes to do so, but people love it. He really has the 'hope' thing locked in, but the problem is that the zombies that are supporting him don't seem to understand that his policies are going to lead to complete financial disaster.

I think that when you put him beside McCain in a debate, its going to be Clinton vs Dole all over again. McCain looks tired, says the exact same shit at every speech and is just plain boring.

Obama is going to be able to win over the center of voters who don't know anything about policy and vote based on personality. The people who actually understand policy never actually elect anyone, its the shitheads in the middle that decide who to vote for 30 seconds before they push the button.

I think they are both terrible, but I think that Obama has the personality advantage and he also has the support of his base. McCain loses on both those counts.

Obama has a lock on the black vote, it's monolithic- 90% or better. He has the weak in the knees isn't he a cute mixed race metrosexual non-threatening black male thing for the white female vote, youth vote is immaterial because they don't vote no matter how much noise they make and close to half of white males are so emasculated and guilt ridden due to the never ending all whites are evil haters/racists/nazis meme they've been force feeding the masses for the last half century he'll probably get a good dose of them too, the rest are too stupid to do anything except follow the herd.

Oh, and I almost forgot the ace in the hole in all US political elections-

Obama supports Israel. Period.
