- the only Forrestal crewman to be immediately transferred.


McCain crashed 5 jets, plus he was responsible for the horrible USS Forrestal fire In 1967.
The one off of Corpus Christi - by Johnny McCain's admission was nearly his fatal mistake - because . . .
he had not studied his training manual for eject procedures.
What the eff is he doing in government equipment without reading and studying the manual !
Oh, the Admiral's son, at the very bottom of his US Naval Academy class - born in Panama - wants to be the
guy to put us in not 50 . . . but 100 years . . . 100 years of War, yes World War III - the McCain foreign policy "strategy".




Surviving crewmen and those who investigated the Forrestal fire case reported that McCain deliberately 'wet-started' his A-4E Skyhawk to shake up the guy in the F-4 Phantom behind his A-4.
'Wet-starts', done either deliberately (the starter motor switch allowed kerosene to pool in the engine and give a wet start) or accidentally, shoot a large flame from the tail of the aircraft. In McCain's case, the 'wet-start' 'cooked off' and launched the M34 Zuni rocket from the rear F-4 that punctured the Skyhawk's fuel tank, knocked the M-65 1000 lb. bomb off it's 500 lb. rated mount, and touched off the explosions and massive fire.
The F-4 pilot was reportedly killed in the conflagration, along with 167 of his fellow Forrestal shipmates (including those who died later from wounds suffered).

'Wet starting' was a common practice among young 'hot-dog' pilots. McCain was quickly (they were still counting the Forrestal dead) transferred to the USS Oriskany (the only Forrestal crewman to be immediately transferred).

McCain is a bitch.

That's really all there is to it. He didn't hold an intellectual candle to Rand's father, and he doesn't hold an intellectual candle to Rand either. I want to see this man's murderous ideology finally put in its place in front of the media circus.

I'm rooting for Rand to strike back, hopefully in a measured and politically pleasing manner that the media will eat up. Sock it to him, friend.

should we count them for you . . . we are including the Forrestal and the one over Hanoi shot down . . .

so actually it is McCain LOST 5 US Navy aircraft - the crash when hot dogging over a low fly-by of telephone wires is one definitive "crash" -
the landing in the water off Corpus Christi also counts as a "crash" as well and let's see what was THAT other one . . .
we'd like the Defendant Johnny McCain (alias Straight Talk, Double Talk Express, The Maverick, Panama John, yadayadayada) to not plead the 5th Amendment here, but the Defendant has rights
Note: JAG Prosecuting Attorney Lt. Caffey will note for the record that the Defendant's claim to be a maverick of some sort
has been disputed on the record of former Delaware US Senator Joe Biden (now serving as Vice-President) and may I quote . . .
(at the one and only VP debate) John McCain is no maverick !

The Court would like the Defendant to speak on his own behalf - unless he is totally incompetent (obvious PTSS, probable Alzheimer's, secondary to melanoma treatment))

And about that transfer immediately off the USS Forrestal
( for his own safety - he'd have had the livin' sheeet kicked out of 'im reeeaal good boys ! )

True, but on the most serious claim, that McCain was somehow responsible for the Forrestal fire, they present not only multiple official documents proving that he had nothing to do with causing the accident, but also video which shows his plane was positioned on the opposite side of the deck from the misfire with its engine pointed out to sea. Even those who think everything is a cover-up can't argue with that.

It's safe to say this is just another of the vast number of scurrilous stories and rumors that so easily make their home in this series of tubes we call the Internet.
