McCain misses Dr. Paul

Ok..i need some clarification on this one. In the video below, at about 1:10, McCain starts a sentence and then gets cut off.

a.) about to confess his undying love for Ron Paul?

or

b.) trying to be a smug douche again by referring to Dr paul being "missed" at the last Fox debate?
