McCAIN in HUGE lead against DEMOCRATS

If he gets the nomination, you will see his face on tv saying over an over again, "100 years of war."

They might hide it from the sheeple for the nomination, but the Democrats will yell it from the mountaintops.

Mccain will lose the general election.

It's because McCain is the most moderate candidate, and people are shying away from ideological extremism this time around.

He's gets the R vote, and the Ind. vote.

Luckily for us, theres still 10 months to go.

EFF YOU, FRANK! It's just a poll...a national poll at that, for something that the nation as a whole won't be voting on for what, 9 more months. Things change daily in politics. Nine months is plenty of time for "Son of Cain"s' skeletons to be drug out of the closet, bone by bone. Luckily, our candidate only gets stronger with time. This is a desperate attempt by the GOP to boost McWar's numbers and possibly avoid a brokered convention. They're scared. Very effing scared. There are too many people who don't like McWar, and from what it looks like he's going to choose Julie-Annie as his mate; a sure recipe for defeat. There's so effing much riding on Tuesday. I don't know if I'm going to make it. Maybe I should stock up on Valium and stay medicated until late Tuesday night. Oh, wait, I can't. I don't know what's good for myself and the government does, so since they've decided for me what I can and cannot ingest, I'll just sit here and develop ulcers and a nervous tick waiting to see if I need to book it to South America.

National Polls Don't Matter..

Its going to come down to Ohio and Flordia, etc.

Polling in those states is more important.

Red states will go red, blue will go blue.

Actually considering how brainwashed most Americans is, McBrain probably has a good chance of beating both Hitlery and Osama, if the Msm keeps pushing him. I'm still not exactly sure which candidate the powers that be decides to go for, Hitlery or McBrain.

He can't overcome the Clinton mud machine.

And Obama takes his independents and younger voters.

Yeah, this is from people who remember McCain being partially sane in 2000. Either hillary or obama would be able to squash him in the general.

I don't understand why pro-amnesty McCain is so popular, I thought illegal immigration was such an important topic for the Republican base.

He's still running on his momentum from the year 2000. When the general election actually starts and people hear the idiotic things he's done and said since then, from pictures of him hugging Bush to talking about eternal war everywhere, he'll go down in flames.

To make up for the disgruntled Republicans who won't vote for him, especially if Obama is the opposition, he needs to eat into a lot more of the independent vote than Republicans usually do, which will become very difficult when the independents finally wake up to what he's been saying. In a crowded primary field it was easy to avoid those statements biting him in the rear, but in a one-on-one general election they will haunt him.

He is indeed a modern day Bob Dole, complete with questions about his age, with the added "bonus" of having higher negatives among the base.

I thought we had these discussions hammered out already after the first few primaries?

Yeah, the polls proved themselves right about Obama cleaning Clinton's clock in New Hampshire.

And if you haven't figured it out yet, polls shape public opinion far more than they reflect it.
