McCain, Graham...you sorry sacks of garbage.

They're on C-SPAN 2 right now.

Philip Klein ‏@philipaklein
John McCain responding to Rand Paul: "Calm down Senator, Holder is right."

Mike Memoli ‏@mikememoli
McCain: "I don't think what happened yesterday is helpful to the American people."

Mike Memoli ‏@mikememoli
McCain, with Graham seated behind him on floor, says Paul brought conversation "to the realm of the ridiculous."

Mike Memoli ‏@mikememoli
Graham: "A bit disappointed" that GOP sens "no longer think we're apparently at war." Paul's not "Republican view," but libertarian

I don't know which of Graham's lies is funnier, that being declared an enemy combatant is all the due process Americans could ever need, or that the A-4 aircraft McCain flew are 'fighters'.

I think Graham and McCain are about to break out into a chorus of Hail to the Chief.

Whoever runs against Graham needs to use his stance against Rand in ads. These two jackasses don't stand with Rand, they stand with Obama. The RNC needs to send a message to these two and treat them like pariahs.

I don't understand why they and others seem to believe that Paul is saying drones should never be used. They keep invoking 9/11 and issues of national security and ask whether that would be an acceptable situation. As Paul said when Durbin asked this same question, pretty sure the answer is a clear yes.

Killing enemy combatants with drones is the American Way. Bow down and submit, Rand. The little puppets on strings demand it.

Money. Defense contractors. Blood lust. It's not that they misunderstand. It's that they intentionally conflate.

McCain and Graham have lost all credibility. They had none with me from the start but they've lost it amongst any level of the GOP. They may be the two least influential GOP senators currently holding seats.

'Number of people killed by drones 0. Number of people killed by Al Qaeda 2,958. The reason it is not 2,000,000 or 20,000,000 or 200,000,000 million is because they can't get the weapons needed to kill that many of us.' - Graham

Then he alludes to weapons of mass destruction and assassinating American citizens here who are labeled enemey combatants or imminent threats. As been stated by Obama imminent is not immediate. This is so sickening I can hardly watch. It's going to be an early one for me. I'm ready for a drink already.

Durbin once again bringing up the red herring of force against a hijacked aircraft on its way to the Pentagon--and again ignoring that this clear and present threat was let through by Cheney. Durbin is making this trashing of the Constitution a real bipartisan effort.

The establishment (Priebus, McConnell, etc) have abandoned these two clowns and realized embracing liberty is the only way for the GOP to remain relevant. Naturally, these two are pretty pissed off. Who're the fringe extremists now?

McCain and Grahams main argument thrust is, America is a battle field.

So much for fighting them there, so we don't have to fight them here.

The day you associate yourself with Al Queda is the day you become an imminent threat, because the organization you support is a threat.

Hear this, if the president thinks you are associated with Al Queda, you are a target.

Starts with Al Qaeda, and then quickly becomes if you are associated with the Occupy Movement, or maybe the Oathkeepers...

Well, the battlefield is constantly evolving, don'tcha know? Gotta respond to all these new threats.

The same people who always were. Rand just finally found a way to make it so obvious even a complete idiot in total denial can't avoid seeing it.
