McCain ends year in debt.

"showed he raised $6.7 million during the last three months of 2007"

son of a bitch! I HATE THE MSM! RON PAUL RAISED 20 million!

remember we need1k+ delgates and no one is even over 100 yet so no one has won anything or even close no matter how the media tries to spin it.

I actually love the fact that the media itself has gotten guiliani to drop out by baiting him into it as his "only shot". Why support someone who 100% believes what the media says and not THINK for himself???

raised $6.7 million in Q4?? bwah ha ha... what a fringe candidate. REAL candidates raised $20 million.

We will, the real conservatives are still looking for someone to believe in, but the MSM has failed and refused to give them Ron Paul. We will do that though, and then they'll have to pay attention.

so does this mean the other guys have filed too, like mike and mitt?

McCain's end-of-year financial reports, filed late Tuesday with the Federal Election Commission, showed he raised $6.7 million during the last three months of 2007 and borrowed $3 million.

Umm, borrowed from WHO? If he's not taking matching funds, this sure as hell had better not be tax-payers dollars.

Rofl dont you know?

He borrowed it from China and had the feds print up the money out of thin air.

What a difference winning makes.

Maybe we should try it.

Nah, those who spend like big government will always spend like big government.

McCain's total at the end of 2007 was $2.9M cash on hand, with $4.5M in debt. But the $2.9M includes almost $2.2M that he received in 2007 for the general election, and that can't be spent for the primaries. That means on Dec. 31 he had only .8M he could spend and $4.5M in debt.

So if you subtract the debt from the $7M he's raised recently, that leaves $2.5M, and I'll bet he's spent more than that since Jan. 1. That's why he won't say how much cash on hand he has.

If you look at the total amount both McCain and Ron Paul received in 2007 in contributions, McCain received more, yet look where he is in comparison.
