Does Drudge have a bias FOR Republicans? Yes. Who denies that?

Yet some of the posters in this thread believe that that's where his bias ends; suddenly he can ignore the human tendency for bias and be fair to all Republicans.

Drudge writes the titles he posts and picks the links. He's not an idiot; he's not going to piss off a large Republican demographic.

He is biased for Romney and throws Paul a bone once in awhile.

Nothing is factual about DrudgeReport otherwise we have to admit that the media is factual. He is trying to skew public opinion to his view. That is not an ethical or honorable goal of anyone of Drudge's caliber or position.

Yep. That's my analysis of Drudge as well in this race. Compared to other conservative sites he doesn't go as negative against Paul and even once in a while is positive about Paul. But he's a Romney supporter. Had Paul gone after Romney more, Drudge might have been more critical.

I would be one of the last to bash AJ, as he brings more data than most other outlets combined. However AJ's defense of Rush pissed me off.

Drudge cares about news. Drudge has been my online source of news since 1997 (I was a teen and got clued in to Drudge because Uncle Scoopy, the net's best free celebrity nudie picture website back then linked to him). Nobody ever accused Drudge of being "biased" until the whole Lewinsky scandal (which Drudge broke) and that was just Dems trying to discredit him because he had the gall to actually report the story. The Drudgereport is not a site with a political bias like Huffington Post, or Free Republic, or even us over here. It is a straight news portal. It's what Yahoo News would be if it were run by a news headline savant rather than some bland corporate stooge. Drudge is an old school, pure newsman. The type of sort that was commonplace in the news industry a hundred years ago but nowadays have been largely relegated to the tabloids.

drudge is not a news site. It is nothing more then status quo propaganda dribble. If it was a news site he would be reporting fairly on ron paul and the gop corruption. He gets an F for coverage! drudge is no different then beck,oreilly and the rest of the establishment shills!

Nah, he does a good job of reporting on current events with fairer coverage toward Ron Paul than every source other than Alex Jones.

rpf is far better at news then drudge. Promises never to click a drudge link again or visit his website. Drudge does a great job at reporting establishment shill news and throws a few treats in once in awhile. screw the treats and his site.

Drudge is a neocon but his links are a must to keep on top of things. I use drudgesiren.com to get them as they come.
