The buzz it creates is just starting to take effect but a great idea will be lost and We will have only ourselves to blame. So many posters proudly proclaiming they originally supported the blimp but won't give now because it isn't being done the way they think best. Unbelievable. I never liked the idea and this + official campaign = me broke.

Does anybody know why the live video stream doesn't have chat like I've seen in the past?

Also, wouldn't I95 have been just as fast a route to Jacksonville and get more view-age rather than the beach and the swamps?

Yeah, click into the video stream and it opens a page on justin.tv with the chat on the right.

There's an entry on the blog, http://www.ronpaulblimp.com/blog/, that says they need to make up time to get to Jacksonville by 3p to be sure to make the 4pm rally, and at the height the FAA requires them to fly over I95 there is too much headwind for good speed right now, so they're skimming the coast. But they do try to fly up and down I95 whenever they can

Man from La Mancha, your post got lost when the mods trimmed the thread because it wandered into a quick chip-in for Louisiania delegates (which is a shame, that was kind of cool, IMHO), but I saw it and put it in my spreadsheet so you're good.

Why? Because I was playing Ron Paul for the Long Haul in my car and a co-worker liked the song and wants to vote for him even though she didn't know what they were rapping about. arrgghh...there are these types of people we have to reach that vote more emotionally than logically. So the blimp is more of an emotional outreach to those types of people. I understand now.
