Markets and Minorities: Sowell and Buckley, Full Episode

Mrs. Pilpel (?) the woman asking questions in the second half of the video, just absolutely love how you can see everything going right over her head.

Since 1984 I have kept a running list of twelve people (dead or alive, no more, no less) that I would like to have in my circle of most preferred friends as primary influences. Over the years I have made a number of substitutions. Thomas Sowell has been on the list since 1990, and is one that I would never, ever consider substituting. He is my Libertarian brother from another mother.

What was interesting to me came from the realization, about ten years ago, that there is nobody on my list that I wouldn't be more than happy to see as a President, Prime Minister or King. And of all those on my list that I would be happy to see in a supreme leadership servant's position, Thomas Sowell is Numero Uno; even above Ron or Rand Paul -- either of whom would make a great Vice President or adviser to him, not the other way around.

Just curious....who else is on your list?
