Wow! I didn't know about the vote against the Iraq Resolution and now the statement about preemptive war... AWESOME!!!

I've been a fan for awhile now... this seals the deal for me. If he runs.. Ron Paul will most likely endorse him. This is GREAT!

But let's remember this is still politics and RP has been doing the same thing for 30 years so his credibility is hard to match up against. Sanford as the article shows hasn't slit RINO throats when he could have

Endorsed McCain=ewww.

However, I have heard from someone I consider to be a reliable source that he wanted to endorse the good doctor, and just was endorsing the mad bomber McCain for politically pragmatic reasons.

It's fine to be pragmatic politically, in terms of how we persuade people and how we build support. But it is totally immoral for us to deviate from the core principles, or to obfuscate our stances on the issues of peace and liberty. (although how we frame a message varies from audience-to-audience.)

Sanford has a lot of good points, but i can't see myself getting excited about supporting him.

He's just not passionate enough about liberty, although he does appear to be a good conservative in many respsect.

Kissing rush's ass was a huge negative on his record... supporting McCain was a joke, and supporting the wall-street bailout hurts his conservative track record.

Sanford has absolutely nothing on Ron Paul...i doubt he'd fire up the Revolution in 2012 and win... Ron Paul is the only hope for that, in my opinion... Sanford is too sketchy.
