They are also missing the influx of people from the midwest into TN and Alabama.... and people from California into Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, and Arizona.
 
Actually, Indiana has been having net migration into the state in recent years.

I think mainly from other nearby midwestern states, which are shrinking. Indiana is bucking their trend.

That's because there is more work here than the neighboring states.
