Man On Life Support After Minneapolis SWAT Cop Punches Him for Talking Too Loud.

Charges were upgraded to first degree assault.

"First degree criminal assault is charged when great bodily harm is inflicted or if the assault with deadly force is committed against a peace officer.

The sentence for a first degree offense is imprisonment for not more than 20 years and payment of a fine of not more than $30,000."

We should learn from this cop and sucker punch people who annoy us and then flee the scene. Its really up to our discretion if we should turn ourselves in or not.

"Roid rage" only effects a very small percentage of people that use, even then you don't want to go around punching people. Most never get angry or violent.

Hmmmm. Sure. Had a friend, good natured kid, completed one cycle and was punching holes in the wall... If the good citizens caught the guy he probably would have hurt many more of them. Airborne training, SWAT, and roids... good luck.

Your friend either had personal problems and was using a drug as a scape goat or he was just one of the rare ones that had "roid rage" but to the extent you take it, well thats up to the user. Like I said, it effects a small amount of people and going around wanting to punch someone is not a side effect I have ever seen personally.

I have known hundreds of guys on cycles that have never had any rage what so ever. Steroids are a good example of how good our drug propaganda is here is the states. Even you are falling for it.

Watch this documentary Bigger, Stronger, Faster. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1151309/

It is easy to blame your problems on something, and Americans especially love to do this.

What a kind man. Sending a person to life support for talking too loud at a bar. Bars arent places for people to talk loud and act obnoxious. They are places to meditate, read books, and peacefully reflect on life.

In the video, Vander Lee can be seen getting out of his chair shortly before he was hit. Bruno says he believes that aggressive act should exonerate Clifford, and admitted he is surprised they are going forward with the case.

Because getting in someone's face in an aggressive manner doesn't count, right Bruno?

Clifford told investigators he had been at another table on the patio with his wife when he heard Vander Lee using language he felt was inappropriate. When he confronted Vander Lee, Clifford said he was certain he was about to be hit and then threw a punch.

Yeah, you're the victim  . Clifford, I hope you realize you are the aggressor in all of this.

FOX 9 News asked Bruno why his client ran from the scene, but he would only say that the answer to that question would become clear in time.

I'll take a wild guess here... he was the wrongdoer.

Uh...anybody been to a bar before? The shit people say is ridiculous. But it's a freaking bar!!! Drinking, smoking, cussing...you know what you do if you don't like it? Leave or STFU. I can't think of anything someone could say to warrant a punch to the face. And I've had big, drunk bastards get in my face telling me they're going to kick my ass. Told him go for it and better make the first punch count because after I'm done mopping the floor with him, he'll get booked on assault since he swung first as everybody will testify.

Shit, most arguments in bars I've seen never turn into fits since no one wants to throw the first punch. And in the event punches fly, the guy who swung first always got a free ride to the drunk tank no matter who much the other guy goaded him.

FFS it's a bar

Can't watch videos here, tell me, is this sarcasm?

What's happening here?
The tape is the cop pointing at the man telling him what can be assumed to be, "STFU." A little while later he walks over to the guy. The guy goes to stand up and when he is about 3/4 the way up he gets sucker punched by the cop being knocked unconscious. The cop takes off running. I would have to assume he was being sarcastic.

Thanks for that thumbnail, much appreciated.

Is it me, or is there a lot of sarcasm in the first page?

Yes, I as well as others were being sarcastic.

Yes there is much sarcasm in here. :p

Only thing they don't show in that clip is the video footage from the bar. Only thing that might get this cop off the force is that video as peasants have no say in the matters of their lords.
