Sure that might draw in a lot of people that aren't already hep to Ron Paul but isn't that the whole point?

Music is the message of love for the young. Once the band has gotten everyone in the mood...Ron Paul comes out and wins those that haven't found out about how it feels being part of what's happening.

I trust SIGNS about the event have sprung up all over the campus AND Westwood...or will tonight and tomorrow?

The event will be held at the Sunset Canyon Rec Center, which is in B2.

There's a parking structure right next to it (the PRC in a circle). I think it's $3/hour. It's not a huge parking lot so if that gets filled up, you can park in Lot 11, which is in B3. I think for Lot 11, you can only pay for a full day and it's $11.

There are other structures further away (probably a 10-15 min walk up hill to get to the event) or you can try your luck finding street parking on Veteran Ave.

This says it seats 500. Maybe I've got the wrong place..

This is so corny, I can't even believe I'm posting it, but I'm also pretty sure it will really RESONATE.

UCLA has a "cheer" called the UCLA 8-CLAP.

EIGHT CLAPS at the beginning, mainly to give people who might be watching the game instead of the cheerleaders time to realize it's HAPPENING.

Eight claps, to gather the assembly.

U-C-L-A-fight-fight-fight!

Sounds silly, I know, but it's a BIG THING at UCLA, and NO student at that school doesn't recognize it.

Too, you have to realize that Babe Cheerleaders thrust up one pompon with each letter as it is chanted individually, then "box" BOTH pompons rapidly into the air on U-C-L-A!

What would be HILARIOUS is big, burly GUYS being the cheerleaders. Or yeah, failing that, a MIX of the supporters I am routinely told come from from "all walks of life"...tho ALL WALKS seem not to make it into many Ron Paul campaign photos.

UCLA = UBER DIVERSE = UBER PHOTO OP.

It is completely understandable that adoring fans would go for THE SHOT OF THEIR MAN...a keepsake, maybe make the front page of RPF, maybe go VIRAL. But what Ron Paul needs are CROWD SHOTSS, and lots of 'em. (Helpful too, should charges of Electoral Fraud be formalized.) Ron Paul ESPECIALLY needs crowd photos that don't look conspicuously WHITE & MALE.

It will almost certainly be a "better mix than usual." Picture, thousand words, you know the drill. More pictures of PEOPLE IN THE CROWD, rather than more pictures of Ron Paul.

Capacity of Strauss Stadium = 5,800. I bet they can fill that easily, need more like 10K imo.

The main grandstand surrounds three courts, and has a capacity of 5,800 spectators. There are eight lighted, hard-surface courts at the center, which can hold 10,000 spectators
