Make It Happen.

Tom Woods sent this link out the other day. Lots of comments, many I think are close to the mark, others way off, and most of the rest in between. Tom said in the email he'll be trying to figure out what people can do from here on out and basically likened this to a sitting U.S. president declaring war on a class of people. I think that's entirely appropriate FWIW. When you threaten the livelihoods of 80 million+ Americans (I'm going to assume the number is larger than that and they pared it down for propaganda reasons), many of which probably already have natural immunity, it's war.

He's right. And this is the biggest problem I have with the January 6th rioters. They weren't taking to take the capital to protest lockdowns like the Michigan protestors were or to protest mask mandates or vaccine mandates. They were simply protesting the selection of one tyrant over another. Trump getting booed when he recently shilled for vaccines in deeply red Cullman Alabama says it all. If you are on the side of Fauci, even in the slightest, you are part of the problem! Seriously, Trump got over COVID in a matter of days from taking monoclonal antibodies. Why wasn't he talking about that instead of his "Operation Warp Speed" vaccine scam?

Not accurate. They were protesting the fact that their claims of election fraud had not been taken seriously.

Then they should have protested Trump's lawyers who did such a piss poor job that even Tucker Carlson called them out for BS.

Trump's lawyers made plenty of mistakes but even having the greatest lawyers of all time would not have made a difference.

The courts would have still thrown out the cases with exactly as much prejudice as they did.

That's tangential to the point. You can't expect congress to take your claims of election fraud seriously if your own candidate didn't take it seriously enough to have proper legal representation. And Trump took donations for the legal fight and used them for other purposes. Also all the Trump flags and hats belies the argument that it wasn't about Trump.

Though not provable, it was obvious - Biden did not have the know-how to do what Trump did, nor would he get away with it if he did. Trump FUNDED the entire Gates' initiative, Operation Warp Speed, TARPed the pharm industrial complex, providing money to Moderna, GAVI, hired Moncef Slauoi (GSK and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation), et al. At that point republicans were accepting of the JAB and gave passes to "nationalized medicine", but democrats were against the Trump-Vaccine. The transfer of presidency was required in order to get the democrats on board, which worked quite effectively. All of this was worked out behind closed doors.

Either way, people felt cheated and were right to feel cheated.

Regardless of Trump's shortcomings or his legal team's shortcomings.

Cheated out of what exactly? Oh that's right. Their preference of tyrant. Which brings us squarely back to the point in the OP. Regardless that's like getting mad at the referee when the fighter you bet on obviously took a dive.

A couple of side posts here and there, but I feel this thread has been derailed from CCTelander 's intention and should be taken elsewhere... considering it is a Grassroots section.

More like the other fighter was wearing brass knuckles and no matter how much you pointed it out, noone cared.

Like when Macho Man Randy Savage pulls out the chair against Hulk Hogan? Yeah. Wrestling is fake too. Sorry to have to break that to you.

Well at the very least I'm glad the election fraud happened and Jan 6 happened.

Because then at least others can start to see the whole thing is fake too.

I think TheTexan and Jmdrake are trying to see if they can set the record on the most threads they can get in a fight lol.

So true. The idea was to try to encourage real, effective activism, not argue about Trump yet again.

“Let me give you a word of the philosophy of reform. The whole history of the progress of human liberty shows that all concessions yet made to her august claims, have been born of earnest struggle. The conflict has been exciting, agitating, all-absorbing, and for the time being, putting all other tumults to silence. It must do this or it does nothing. If there is no struggle there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground, they want rain without thunder and lightening. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters."

"This struggle may be a moral one, or it may be a physical one, and it may be both moral and physical, but it must be a struggle. Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will. Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them, and these will continue till they are resisted with either words or blows, or with both. The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress. In the light of these ideas, Negroes will be hunted at the North, and held and flogged at the South so long as they submit to those devilish outrages, and make no resistance, either moral or physical. Men may not get all they pay for in this world; but they must certainly pay for all they get. If we ever get free from the oppressions and wrongs heaped upon us, we must pay for their removal. We must do this by labor, by suffering, by sacrifice, and if needs be, by our lives and the lives of others.” - Frederick Douglass (Emphasis mine)
