We lost by 115.

113 if we want to count the unreported New Portland caucus.

I will be leaving shortly to drive to East Machias. I caucused two weeks ago in Kennebec county but will go there to show support and observe this historical event. I should be back home by 7 PM and will report back in.

I'm sure there will be lots of good energy coming our way today.

I thought I'd start this. Let's fill this thread with reports from the ground/twitter/forum members/and, sigh, the maine GOP. Any and all results.

I will try my best to update this thread with a running total.

2,269 - Romney

Right now the magic number is 237. (239 as reported by GOP. Reports are that we gained 2 in Rome on Thursday)

Do we know that all the caucuses after Sat Feb 11 will count? The Washington Caucuses might be in a different category from the Hancock and Kennebec caucuses

Have you talked to Eric Brakey?

They're concerned about "rogue volunteers". You might want to find a voter in Washington County. Extra GOTV. You might talk to Valerie Page (who should have money that we here on Ron Paul Forums gave her for Extra GOTV). I'm not sure what you'd do with money. You might be able to figure that out, I dunno. There's a Mobil station / convenience store in downtown Machias. 5 miles before the East Machias caucus. You might want to stop there. Theres a natural food store across the street. Raw milk. You might find people who live in Washington County at those places who are awake, and dressed, and have drivers licenses and could just go right down that road there to the caucus.

http://www.burnhamtavern.com/History2.htm The Burnham Tavern, in Machias, which you will be driving right by -

"The Tap Room of Job Burnham’s tavern, which stands at the center of Machias and overlooks the river anchorage, became the scene of hot and heavy debate as the settlers struggled to decide. Jeremiah O’Brien, Job’s brother-in-law, argued hard for aggressive action and urged the capture of the British commander and his ship."

REMEMBER THE (USS) MAINE!

That's it! The whole fiasco is a false flag operation engineered by the Ron Paul campaign as a way to energize Ron Paul supporters in Washington Co. to attend the caucus and become delegates!

Ron Paul, Ron Paul, Ron Paul.... Ron Paul, Ron Paul lol

135 votes at the Hancock caucus...and thats only part of the county. Very good sign.

We need a lot of votes to overcome the deficit.
