Maine Loses battle at RNC Credentials

Also, are there really people in Maine that will drop every thing and spend thousands of dollars to fly across the country and vote for Romney in a meaningless convention, on 1 day notice? And how is the RNC going to find these people?

I am sure the RNC has enough money to pay these people to go and cover all expenses!

42 people were reportedly notified earlier in the week to make arrangements.

Virginia delegate Morton Blackwell objected that the rule would have a "damaging effect on our presidential candidate Mitt Romney."
"There are very large numbers of people who supported other candidates, in particular Ron Paul, who will see this as an attack on their behavior," he said, warning that they could vote for the Libertarian party.

He is a Romney super delegate and national committee man

Ron Paul looses all contests because it is a star chamber and popularity (for the 'presumed nominee') vote not an actual procedural determination.

We need to make this widely known, imho, but we can discuss it after TAmpa.

How much you want to spend on some ads? I'll send RP and John Tate the message and bill, that we are running educational ads and could use $30+ million.

So, they choose scorched earth and inevitable defeat over compromise and dialogue.

They don't want to win with Romney. They want to lose with a "fiscally conservative" platform so they can say "I told you so" in 4 years. Fucking childish.
