We need a get out the vote for the elderly...

That demographic is killing us...

We can't let mitt take maine.

Is ron going back to maine in the next day or 2, or is he focusing somewhere else?

It's just that Santorum overperformed/Mitt & Newt SUPER underperformed--which made our overperformance less.

Maine is going well. Continue to do PFH, local work, donate to campaign/PACs, whatever you can to support the upcoming states. At this point, it is a marathon.

That's not going to change. Ron has always been one to put family first. It's one of the things we just have to accept about him.

patronage bestowed or favoritism shown on the basis of family relationship, as in business and politics: She was accused of nepotism when she made her nephew an officer of the firm.

In business, nepotism is the sign of a weak leader. Ron must rise about this is he is to be taken seriously by the media and many others

We way overperformed in MN. We do need to win Maine.

I agree. If that national poll had come out three days earlier, Ron might have had a chance to 'surge' in Minn, but as it was Santa surged w/ those jumping off Gingrich because Santa hasn't really been vetted yet. I presume that won't stay the case.

I hope we win Maine. Ron is going up again instead of to CPAC, I understand. There is one huge city caucus that could reverse a lot of our more rural gains if we aren't well represented, is my fear. I really really hope we win Maine.

With the polls, I didn't expect us to win Minn. Before Gingrich imploded and Santa got so much of his vote we might well have. But the 'others' float with the current.

So what? He can also trust them. Look at Rollins and Bachmann.

Rollins is a very skillful manager, isn't he?

We still have some time for the Maine people to pull it together.

Good luck guys...!

We don't need to convince old people to vote for RP as bad as we need to CONVINCE THE YOUNG PEOPLE TO ACTUALLY GO VOTE

We already dominate the younger age group and it is much easier to convince someone to just go vote than to convince someone to get over their preconceived notions and change who they will vote for.

Oh STFU with baseless complaints about management. Most of you guys are friggin clueless and don't even know who is who on the staff. Some are faces, others are operatives. They are doing much better than any of us would be doing and are fighting massive machines. Many have stepped far away from the comfort zone to support honest government and they have my full support...

Sometimes I think some of you thought this would be a cakewalk.

The politically naive will always be the base of this movement - it is generally a strength of ours but a problem on election nights. You know we have your back.

Very well said rph. A lot of people have no idea what is going on.

There are legitimate concerns from those of us who are far from being politically naive. I am looking at MN returns and seeing counties that have populations of 10,000+ where only 150 or so people caucused. We know this is the turnout from historical data, so I am unsure why there wasn't an effective organization at the county level to go out and find 100 people that support Paul and we could have taken many of these counties.
